CNN story. Apparently Obama sent a letter to his pastor but that has yet to be released.

My guess is he's been hearing a lot of serious concern from uncommitted delagates over the last couple days.

Most people don’t resign a church. They typically Most people don’t resign a church. They typically move their membership to a different church. He can’t even change churches correctly..... He can’t even change churches correctly.....
In this area there are many fundamentalist churches, people move their memberships.
Resign, that is a rarity.

Obama is speaking now about his quitting the church. BUT only Fox is showing it, not CNN, MSNBC etc. Unbelievable.

Unless he is preparing to denounce all Christian “haters” and leave the faith altogether. He’d pick up a couple of demographics (especially among progressives) by doing that.

His reasons for leaving are that evertime someone from there speaks, the comments are connected to him AND the church itself is getting unfair and unfavorable coverage. He did say the comments of Flegher were inappropriate, but he wishes all his friends at the church good will and praises the work done by both Wright and Flegher.
In other words, he can’t deal with the commentary and criticism...so he is bailing.

Don’t you wonder why he would bother to be a Catholic priest? Obviously, he loves theater. No celibacy, much theater, seems like Trinity would be the place for him.

Obama just spoke about leaving his church.. He couldn't hide his anger and bitterness about having to give up his racist/terrorist buddies. He is blaming everything and everyone but himself.. again.
