Mike was diagnosed with esophageal cancer about 5 weeks ago.
He has finished his first round of chemo, and just started the second.
Many of you have been praying for him behind the scenes.
"I appreciate all the 'incognito' prayers....I know they make a difference."
The first round was rough, the second looks to be rougher.
He and his wife would appreciate your prayer support.
An update at #378 and a call for more prayers re: redrock!
Heavenly Father,
I ask that you bless Mike’s mind, body and soul. From the top of his head to the soles of his feet, bless him.
Give his heart and mind You peace as well. Hold him in Your loving arms. Give him Your rest.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Prayers continue for Mike.
Will continue to lift Mike to the Lord for complete healing! Thank you for the update.
BTT!!!
Ok, Mike!!! Get that strength back, I might find another 5,000 pound boulder I want moved!
:<)
Still praying for you Mike. May God glorify Himself in you and your family.
Prayers continuing.
More prayers being sent.
Get well soon.
Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on Mike’s recovery. Surgery for any reason is so miserable, and hospital routine is exhausting and undignified. Being at home is terrific—much better rest there, much more of the needed attention, and of course, FRiends!
Mike, you are so in my prayers, as well as your wife and family. It is my prayer that you feel a lot better, very soon, as your body heals from the surgery. As the pain lessens, your energy levels will probably increase, and that’s part of my prayer.
I’m so looking forward to the updates, and will continue prayers for your complete recovery, in Christ’s most Holy Name.
Prayers continue....
I am leaving tomorrow for a brief vacation, and am bringing my prayer list with me .... and you know Redrock is on there. So happy he’s home and cleared to resume normal activities ... that will give a surge of energy. Prayers will be going out for Mike and family.
prayers continue
Thank you for the update! Prayers continue for Mike’s full and speedy recovery...
Continued prayers for that road to good health. Hang in there. It WILL happen. One day at a time.
Mike,
Pleased as can be to see you made it back Home!
You are right. The sooner you start “getting back to the normal things” is what will make your system start realizing who’s boss!
Been there meself with the no energy part... trust me, kick starting the bod isn’t easy! But the more you do it, the easier it becomes...
Still got your six...

Isaiah 53:5 ~ “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that made us whole, and with His stripes we are healed.”
Continued prayers for Mike and family.
To Mike: It’s hard, but as you say recovery will come. Every day you’ll find you’re just a teeny bit stronger, can stay awake just a while longer, can manage to sit around in the living room with the family a bit more, and, finally, find the frequency and severity of the pain lessen. Being home makes a world of difference and I’m so very glad you’re back on your home turf.
Many blessings ^0^
BTTT
