You can usually create a margin of error of +/- 3% with a decent sample. Deception easily falls within the MOE on stats like that.

Bingo. Moonbats won’t leave Lil’ O because Wright is as wacky as they are. The segment of the pie that is turned off by Wright won’t be voting until the general.

What’s to explain? A razor tight race, just like the exit polls showed.

After what we’re going to go through after this election? Probably nowhere. Eyeballing Israel personally. If they kick Olmert out, it’ll be a shoein.

How freedom loving will this country be after this election? We’re looking at +15-30 dem representatives, +7-9 dem senators.

If we get McCain - he’ll destroy the Republican party. Forever. Unrecoverable. He’s a liar, a socialist liberal that believes in income redistribution, and is cloaking it in his sudden newfound conservatism since Febraury 2008. The man is 70 years old, he is not a sudden conservative. He’s lied before, he’s doing it now. Political expediency. You can already see it when he criticizes a Republican at the drop of a hat, but will stretch and contort himself into interesting shapes to apologize for a democrat. Still doing it. He’ll be a rubberstamp for the Democrat congress in the guise of getting things done.

If we get either of the Dems. Well, McCain, but it happens faster.

Either way. ITS LOSE-LOSE PEOPLE! Stop slobbering over McCain.

What we really need is a Dem president (pref Hillary, she’s not stupid enough to immediately pull out) and a Republican congress.

Thats the only safe scenario.

What’s to explain?

How about the original wide margin of victory for Kerry according to...wait for it....the exit polls...that turned into a win for W?

Susan Estrich was drunk on FNC and celebrating Kerry’s impending inauguration based off of the exit polls.

The entire population of DU...all 6,000 of them were on suicide watch when the hard numbers and actual votes began to be tallied.

No...considering the Dems will more than likely hold serve in the House and Senate...it’s a deathwish for Republicans.

Awww, look folks..another tulip.

Actually, my tulips are in bloom and are most beautiful, strong, rather grand, and quite magnificent...so, I'm thinking, I'd rather be a tulip anytime as say a clump of pickle weed. ;^)

Yeah, I just saw that. Just when everyone but politicians seem to be realizing the absurdity of “climate change” politics.

Someone suggested shrinking violet. I have “changed that tune”. SV seems much more appropriate.

Well, when we actually saw the exit polls in Florida, they were super close. But the media will take a minor lead in an exit poll and give it to a Democrat while sitting on a huge lead in an exit poll that shows a Republican ahead.

Did it never occur to you this was the reason they left Georgia as “too close to call” until after 8pm that night? Bush won Georgia by 12 points if I remember correctly, and exit polls had it that much as well, but they waited until right before Florida closed to call it for Bush.

You stated that exit polls were worthless, but you don’t argue that case. You argue that the media relies on them to make the call in close cases. In Florida in 2000 they sure did and it bit them in the butt.

If your exit polls fall into the margin of error, you shouldn’t be using them to call contests.

But exit polls are far from useless as they gather information like demographics and voter issues and intensities. Very useful data for those whose job it is to run campaigns.
