A man heckling First Lady Laura Bush and daughter Jenna outside the 92nd Street Y was arrested after he punched a wheelchair-bound girl whose parents had told him to shut up, authorities said yesterday. German Talis, 22, was shouting obscenities at the Bushes...Wendy and John Lovetro and their daughter Maureen, 18, who has cerebral palsy.

Ever notice all this crap happens in BLUE STATES? You wanna know why? Because if an anti-war protestor hit a little kid holding a camera, or attacked a crippled girl, that 'ol boy would be more crippled than the girl was after we got finished with him. And, when he complained to the cops, they'd simply say, "I didn't see anything."
When John McCain came to Meridian, I went out to NAS meridian to see him (I know what we think about McCain, but he IS the only candidate who supports the war). I was HOPING and PRAYING some peace pansy would show himself, because I always promised my dad (a Vietnam War vet) that I'd kick a Hippy in the Nuts just for him. Yet, the Peace Pansies know better than to show themselves down here in Mississippi.
The right hates the president no matter what he does, even if he does a good thing, but at least some, if not most of The Base aren't blinded enough by hatred to do violence to innocents. Yet. All of the left hates him enough to do violence to innocents...though then again, the left just hates, period.
One of my grandsons has CP due to complications after a premature birth. I would like to do violence to Talis....he ain't innocent.
I find this incident symbolic of the intelligence and courage of the anti-war crowd.
These are the people who insist we should adopt their policy.

While they are at it ... show presidential candidates then vs now. Hillary screaming vs sweet talking, Obama with his misfit friends vs now disassociating with them, AND McCain dignified in congress vs McCain dignified in campaign.
Interesting point. I wonder if all the B.S. defenses show a similar pattern. As I recall, the Twinkie defense was hatched in true-blue California.
Of course he was unperturbed. Those with Bush Derangement Syndrome are too obsessed with the foreign policy of this administration to think about anything else, including basic civility. They are quite literally psychotic.
The two men fought as the president's family drove off. Cops broke them up and busted Talis on charges of assault and resisting arrest.
Hopefully the dad got in a few good shots before they were separated. The lib nut is fortunate to be alive.
