Tunes For The Troops

**Artist Showcase**
Disturbed is a rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The group was formed in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired singer David Draiman in Chicago, Illinois. Originally classified as a nu metal band, Disturbed is now regarded by some music critics as hard rock or heavy metal, although others now regard them as alternative metal. However, the band's genre is still being debated. When asked about die-hard metal fans not finding Disturbed heavy enough, frontman David Draiman stated:
"We probably have too much melody going on or we're not quite as turbulent or caustic. While I really love that type of music, it's not what we try to do. If we have to place things in context, we're more hard rock than heavy metal these days."
This music is provided for the entertainment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies & their families!
Enjoy the variety of musical selections that the Canteen Deejays provide throughout the thread. Please ping LaurenMarlowe with your requests for the Troops.
All music is removed on Monday. Thanks to all the DeeJay's for their time & effort providing entertainment for the Troops!

Get all their scout leaders involved. Y’all could end up
having a state-wide cookoff...if this one wasn’t.
The gals are right, it would be a great fund-raiser!

Looks like we will all have our checkbooks out in the future!:)
Alot of my family have migrated up to Utah.
The outdoor dutch oven cooking seems to be a big thing there.
It really is a fun & interesting way to cook on occasion.

If you printed the name of the scout that submitted along with troup number you would have a guaranteed sale to every parent.
It could be a sneak hit like “Dangerous Book for Boys”.

It would be a great gift for other scouts or for guys who like to cook out...or, of course, gals who like to cook out.
Fun stuff! I have never heard of “outdoor dutch oven cooking” but it sounds fairly easy and it sure sounds good!

Grading stinks; but we have a great crop of kids this year. We need to figure out a new way to do the grading. One of my sisters gets to retire this year; so going back next August may be more difficult than usual!

Any dog can open a door by pushing.
Solly know’s how to pull them open..She knows the doors that she can bump and make pop open a crack.
Had to put a hook and eye up high on a few of them. I was afraid she would learn how to work the latch.

Those hounds make me laugh every day. Of course cleaning up a mountain of shredded tp wasn’t fun but it was better than many things that I’ve cleaned up.
We were looking for a dropped watch pin last night.. Solly shoved her head right in the midst of us looking and Jackie stuck her head in the closet by making the folding doors slide.
They didn’t know what we were looking for but they were going to help.
