 Disturbed is a rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The group was formed in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired singer David Draiman in Chicago, Illinois. Originally classified as a nu metal band, Disturbed is now regarded by some music critics as hard rock or heavy metal, although others now regard them as alternative metal. However, the band's genre is still being debated. When asked about die-hard metal fans not finding Disturbed heavy enough, frontman David Draiman stated:

 "We probably have too much melody going on or we're not quite as turbulent or caustic. While I really love that type of music, it's not what we try to do. If we have to place things in context, we're more hard rock than heavy metal these days."

 This music is provided for the entertainment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies & their families!
  Enjoy the variety of musical selections that the Canteen Deejays provide throughout the thread. Please ping LaurenMarlowe with your requests for the Troops.
 All music is removed on Monday.
 Thanks to all the DeeJay's for their time & effort providing entertainment for the Troops!

    Greetings to everybody at the Freeper Canteen. It's Friday and I am off work this weekend and we are not having computer issues so that means it's time for the Friday Flyby. Tonight as I am being lazy we have a Grabbag Flyby. Just a few pics that I picked up in the last few days that are more or less kinda cool. So on with the pics.
 First up from the low level practice route in Wales a few RAF C-130 pics, naturally a head on shot leads off the Flyby.

 From the Sun and Fun fly in down in Florida a couple of pics. First up an "artsy' pic of a T-6 Texan.

 A great looking Piper Cub taxis by on the way to the active runway.

 And to wrap up tonights Flyby we have a couple pics of a Royal Australian Air Force F-111 showing off it's party trick at the Warbirds over Wanaka down in New Zealand. Another of the places I would like to go to if I ever hit the big money. hey a fella came dream, eh?

 Well we hope everybody has a great weekend and with a little luck we will be back with the Saturday Sortie tomorrow night.
 Regards
 alfa6 ;>}
