Officials in Florida released videotape Monday of an attack by six teenagers on a 16-year-old girl -- an attack that officials said the teens filmed just so they could post on the Internet, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Polk Sheriff Grady Judd called the tape and the attack, "shocking -- I've never seen anything like it... this is outrageous behavior."
The beating took place on March 30 when the girl was lured to a Lakeland, Fla., home. According to authorities that's where two of the attackers began yelling at the victim, and another girl began beating her and slamming her head into a wall. The victim lost consciousness, but when she awoke, a total of six teenage girls began beating her and videotaping the attack -- all while laughing and encouraging each other, the sheriff's office said. Meanwhile, two teen boys kept watch outside.
The victim suffered a concussion as well as damage to her left eye and left ear, and numerous bruises.

Hopefully, they all go to jail...even more hopefully, the victim wins large civil suits against the families of the girls, and in particular the family whose home this took place in. May she be set for life!!!!!!!
Girls can be so sweet.
"Oh, you're 16 years old? Sorry, second-class citizen."
I’ve said it before and will say it again: do not watch the video.
The girls taped it because they wanted people to see it. They were hoping for a few thousand views on YouTube and MySpace. Instead they are getting tens or even hundreds of thousands via the media.
They are proud of what they did, and they want you to watch.
I guess the Internet has done one good thing. It lets many future murderers identify themselves while they’re still at the torture stage of their psychosis.
If she tried to leave the house after the violence started the perps are looking at kidnapping charges. 20 years in the big house.
One of these days, I love to see this sort of scum killed and maimed by their intended victim or a defender, and the video posted on YouTube (I won’t go to MySpace...).
They can stay proud as they're serving time. They are facing some very serious charges and I hope that they're all tried as adults, convicted and sentenced harshly. I saw the video on Greta last night and it really made my blood boil.
I believe this is an example of the
“socialization”
that people always ask homeschoolers about.
Only thing you can do with a pack of feral dogs is put em all down and be done with it. If you kill the pack leader another will just takes it’s place. If you spay/neuter them it still takes years for the colony to die out.
I have a feeling that was what they thought before this became national news and they were arrested. I bet they are now fervently wishing that this would all go away as soon as possible.
I had the same thought, but I then I realized it was inevitable and making the public aware of the incident can be beneficial in understanding our current culture. Justice will be served. They will probably learn what a true beating is in jail. Unfortunately they are probably already too far down the wrong path for much hope.
Unbelievable!! Hopefully they will be tried as adults.
What was their beef against the victim?
Behold the Lord of the Flies result of Leftist "educational" indoctrination.
So they're trash. Their parents are trash. What else needs to get said really...
Blame the “victim’s” dad. Sorry, but the first girl who slapped her should have been straight punched in the 7i7s! The next one, a broken knee.
If the first reaction to an angry, physical group is “how can they act this way...” then it is feeding time. If the first reaction to that group is abrupt, direct, and effective violence, then the “prey” wins.
“...don’t get scared, get angry, and this is what you do...”
Dad to non-victim daughter.
ruefully
