I thought about going over to the dark side and voting for Hillary or Obama, but couldn't make myself do it. I registered as a Republican, and found that Fred Thompson was still on the ballot, so I voted for him. I may have to vote for McCain in November, but I'm not doing it now.

I also voted for the state rep, Jonathan Sibley, that opposed the Trans-Texas Corridor. I liked Doc Anderson, but he's a supporter of Rick Perry, so I can't vote for him.

Re: Final jeopard last night was a dozy. One peak of the fifty tallest is not in Cal, Co, Alaska. The “winner” guessed Mt Mckinley. What an idiot. One looser guessed Pikes Peak. One other had Mona Loa. I guessed Mount Olympus and was wrong.

My guess, if within the United States is the target area, would be Mount Rainier in Washington state. That is the only really high mountain I can think of that is not in Cal, CO or AK.

Ripe for mischief too.

One woman said Mona Kea in HI. I had hard somewhere that it was the highest mountain on earth when measured from the ocean floor. No cigar for her, though.

Listening to Hugh Hewitt... Barry is in the Cuyahoga Courts, Judge shopping to keep the polls open. Aaaah yes - here we go again. I hope Barry O. does not does not have any pets...

The callers crossed over and voted for Hillary in Oh and Tx and Hewitt is having a fit! "What did Rush do? " (He is half concerned, and half laughing... )

“I hadn’t really see McCain in a while. But tonight I did see him on the news> He does not look good. He looks old. He looks weak. Not frail but weak. Like someone with no spark of lust for life. There was also a look in his eyes that I have seen in other older people when they are on the verge of being three sheets to the wind.
Until now I just thought of McCain as a cantankerous, backstabbing RINO unfit for the office. But I don’t think that is really an issue after seeing him. He looks like someone who is not ready for any type of contest even if his life depended on it.”

That’s exactly what I’ve thought of him the last month or so.

Either A) The campaign has worn him down to the point where he’s better off in a nursing home than in the oval office, or B) It’s a calculated attempt to hide the abrasive “Captain Queeg” side of his personality.

A caller to Hewitt claims that in ohio droves of republicans are voting hillary.

Also of note, here in TX Moveon.org is calling hispanics urging them to back Obama.
So thats were his money is coming from.

UNFORTUNATELY “it will be him”!

A few days ago I would have agreed with the delegate numbers in his favor. Today I'm not so sure especially since her kitchen sink tactics are working against him and if she pulls this out by larger margins than what anyone predicted. Listening to what some of the exit polls are saying it appears her coalition is coming back to the fold.

BREAKING NEWS: Ohio official asks judge to hold open polls in Sandusky County until 9 p.m. EST

Unless you're out in it, it's hard to believe just how crappy our weather is tonight - heavy freezing rain mixed with sleet, winds to 30mph, and scattered power outages. Glad I voted at lunchtime. :)

Agree,,Hillary is more dangerous than obama because she is smarter, has a history and a machine and is entrenched. If she wins, she will be very powerful.

Obama is a light weight. He is elegant and smart and smarmy and a world class demogogue but he doesn’t have establishment behind him and Hillary will be out for his blood from day one. He will make egregious mistakes, he will alienate moderates. He won’t be able to get him and entrench himself.

But if he were to win and they take a filibuster proof congress, we will rue the day and miss Hillary.

It will be interesting to see what crazy race baiting she will launch against McCain, and whether she does it herself in a black church or through surrogates. I'd like to think McCain is a bit racism proof but then I think in reality W is strongly anti racist and look what was done to him.

Of course, Obama will not need to use fear to get out the black vote he will do that on pride, but an Obama candidacy is a whole other dynamic. The dem party

BREAKING-VOTER RFRAUD/VOTE-STEALING IN HOUSTON

HOUSTON — Voters reported being turned away from the polls, prompting a criminal investigation into vote stealing, Local 2 Investigates reported Tuesday.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office confirmed it is contacting the victims, all centered around Precinct 219 in southeast Houston.

“I feel really hurt,” said Garland Boone, a voter in the Third Ward neighborhood off Yellowstone, where the scam was reported.

He said his neighbors who are victims “don’t have a chance to express their vote. Everybody needs to express their own vote.”

Precinct Judge Edna Russell told Local 2 Investigates that some senior citizen voters had to be turned away because absentee ballots had already been mailed in using their names.

“Somebody had already voted for me,” said Georgia Ireland.

She and the other victims reported that people were going door-to-door, offering help to seniors with filing voter registration forms.

Some victims signed the paperwork, while others did not, but the scammers then used the information to mail absentee ballots in their names, meaning their votes were stolen from them.
