WaPo has the same numbers
Louisianna
Precincts Reportng: 74%
Republicans
Candidate # of votes % of total # of delegates
Huckabee 49,788 45.76% 0
McCain 43,823 40.28% 0
Romney 6,419 5.90% 0
Paul 5,502 5.06% 0
Thompson 999 0.92% 0
Giuliani 964 0.89% 0
Hunter 252 0.23% 0
Tancredo 67 0.06% 0
So, then it’s the same for me because I wrote Romney and I’m 1 of the delegates?? This is getting confusing.
Why is it that 96% of the precints are reporting the democrat vote, but only 37% for the Republicans.
The fix is in folks!!!
The dims are in charge of Pierce County voting ALSO!
LOL True, so true!
I don’t argue with their organization or zeal, not even their participation, just their attitudes and methods.
I wish we could get more of our people fired up like they are.
Visit their forums sometime. Tonight, they are crying foul that Paul really won Washington and it is being covered up.
I have been - love it!
LOL. California's Motto is BOHICA. ;-)
If Huckabee gets a chance to campaign in those states he could very well win. I had heard that if he had had another three days in New Hampshire he could have won, so impressive is he when people actually hear him on the stump and see for themselves that he is not a one-dimensional candidate.
Huck favors doing away with the IRS...that is about as conservative as you can get.
And having Pro life positions is a huge chunk of “the Base”
Dubya would never have won without that base.
That’s great. Given the Seattle schools are filled w flaming lib administrators and a lot of teachers and didn’t want to celebrate Thanksgiving, I can’t help but wonder if they do - - I sure hope so.
LOL!
looking at the election calendar (which I found). Huckabee’s final stand would be in February ... main contests that he would have to winL
Virginia 2/12
Maryland 2/12
Washington primary 2/19
Wisconsin 2/19
If he somehow won those, that would be a wakeup call to McCain and country club blue bloods at the RNC.
After that things are pretty quiet until March 3/4 (Ohio, Texas, Vermont, Rhode Island) ... those would be tough for Huckabee to do well ... but you never know ... that day will probably be important for Hillary, she should be favored in those states ... she doesn’t do well, she is in huge trouble ... that would be the Obama knockout slap
It’s comforting to know that we have some great, well-formed young people to keep our country moving in the right direction! Thanks for raising them so well!
That was for Spokane, not statewide, unfortunately. In more liberal parts of the state, Ron Paul isn’t doing as well...he has only 20% of the vote.
I hadn’t heard that Hunter coached him. That does make me feel a bit better. I’ve always had the greatest respect for Rep. Hunter - -just wish he could have gotten more face time in the MSM. If he had gotten half as much as Huck and McCain, we’d be talking a different race now. The lack of coverage for Romney was almost as bad as Hunter received (or didn’t). To be honest, I got to the point where I was almost sick of seeing Huck on the tube, but, I guess he was smart - he didn’t have any money and just kept getting himself on as many shows as possible to get out in front of the public.
She'll do GREAT! And you can tell her I said that! (Tell her that being conservative is rebellious, these days! ;-)
Those idiot FReepers are complaining about the same thing!!! Oh, wait...that’s here.
