Caution. No results yet from King or Spokane counties yet. They could swing this primary easily depending on turnout.

Hopefully, Ron Paul will get a boost in some of the areas still out, and McCain could then finish third.

Ladies and gents, we continue to do the same thing to ourselves. McCain comes out on top every time (even though he polls less than 50%) because the Huckaphony and RuPaul candidates split the majority vote. It just gives McCain another state to claim victory in and he gets all the delegates.

To cast a meaningful protest vote, we need to get behind whichever candidate (other than McCain) is in the lead in that state and forget voting for our first, second or third choice candidate. The goal is to have McCain come in second or third in as many states as possible so he can not claim state victories though he may have a delegate lead from earlier states. Unfortunately that means voting for the Huckster or Ron Paul, as distasteful as that is for many of us.

You are very welcome Jan. Thank you for posting what you did in the Colorado primary - loved the pictures of Mitt! I’ve been interested in the results of each state - but CO was a little more important to me, since I grew up there.

I went to the Eastside Republicans club meeting the other night and we had someone from the VFW lead us in the pledge and we did it today before the caucus began - I couldn’t help getting a little misty both times. I started thinking about it, and, unfortunately, I can’t remember the last time I said it.

I was watching my nephew, who is in Kindergarten, the other night and I brought a calendar and some stickers as a little project for us to work on. We’ve taught him to respect the flag since he was very young - he could point to it and say - look, there’s the American flag (sorry, I digress). Anyway, we were looking at some flag stickers and he said, have I ever said the Pledge of Allegiance for you, and I said, why no, but I’d love to hear it. Up off the chair he goes w his hand over his heart and proceeds to say the pledge. I told him I was so proud of him and asked him if he said it at school - he said, yes, every morning since day 1 - 1 kid gets to hold the flag up and everyone says the pledge 1st thing in the morning. I don’t know if they do that in the Seattle Public schools - he goes to a Catholic school (thank goodness!).

Best,
SC

His best chance is probably in King county in which Seattle is located.

i’m just funnin’ wit ya. I don’t have a horse in this race. Just watching and laughing at it all.

I think if it is Obama vs. McCain ... it is going to be bad for the GOP. McCain better hope Hillary somehow wins (maybe she’ll steal most of those Michigan and Florida delegrates to win ... but that would definitely alienate the Obama people).

What an absolutely pathetic result for McCain tonight. He is supposed to be the presumptive nominee and he gets his clock cleaned against Huckabee??

He's a populist, NOT a conservative. Being prolife does not make one a conservative.

However, today I hope he wins BIG!

This was voter created (they were supposed to check a box taking an oath that they wouldn’t vote/caucus for the other party). We’ll have to see if there’s still fraud. The Dim that was in charge of elections in King County (Seattle metro area and most heavily populated county in the state) left and is now in charge of elections in LA - did ya hear the stories about the issues they had down there. Poor Dean Logan, maybe eventually he can be in charge of elections in Split Lip, NV.

pretty embarassing if McCain loses to Huckabee in Washington ... not really a state where you would expect Huckabee to do well.

My daughter in first the Renton and now Snoqualmie Valley school districts has done the pledge of allegiance every morning. I was surprised.
