I’m not sure about the betrayal part, but I’m with you on the rest. I think I pretty much said that. Must have been another thread. Dang it’s hard to keep track of these things! lol

Conservatives don't have a candidate, and Third Party is the only solution I see at this time.

It's NOT a solution, it's just a way for people to feel righteous about their vote. The last time we had a Third Party candidate, all it got us was 8 years of x42 and Her Heinous, and the rise of Islamofascism in response to the spinelessness those murderers saw in the American government.

Open your eyes. Fred, Mitt and Huck are all stalking horses for McCain.

Was Fred's run in any way serious? Hell no! Was Mitt's concession speech at all believable? He cares so much about conservatism and the country that he's ceding it to traitor McCain? Pffft. And Huckabee's a joke from the git go. Karl Rove and Dick Morris never supported Huck but they went and "advised" him for free. Sure. They talked him into running so neither Fred nor Mitt could get a lead on the chosen one.

“I’m cracking you up? That’s one for me. It’s all about the fun imo :)”

Absolutely correct! I am leaving now though (if I could just stop getting myself involved in these posts!).

Hope you had fun. I sure did. :D

I keep thinking about the men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and how they'd feel knowing that conservatives, who supposedly support them, stayed home in anger and allowed folks who loathe the military to be the ones making the decisions that will directly impact them. Kinda puts any disappointment I might feel in perspective.

I can tell you that what is going on over here bothers them a good deal - I just want to see that they don't, in the end, get stabbed in the back by us by letting clinton or "O" in -

That is the big question. The MSM will turn against him in a NYC minute and that will paved the way for the Dems to get the WH.

I’m backing the guy that Duncan Hunter endorsed - Mike Huckabee.

Huckabee isn’t going anywhere except back to Hope AR thankfully......

http://www.thegreenpapers.com .

1274 delegates remaining before LA votes tomorrow.

McCain .. 699 delegates .. Needs 492 [38% of remaining available]

Huckabee .. 179 delegates .. Needs 1012 [80% of remaining available]

I couldn't care less about this endorsement, and I like Fred and cringe at the thought of McCain. But I'm a lot angrier at all the whinea**es around here with their "He's boring!" and demands that Fred perform card tricks or something to "get their vote".

*snort* Did YOU ever nail it!

Not suprising that the elites demanded that McCain should be the one. Remember there is an atitude that he is ?owed? the presidency.

McCain was enraged in 2000. Never did figure that out though. I live in TX and two years before the election the elites were down here to see him. We all knew he was to be the one. Guess McCain thought he could outdo the party high hats.

I knew he wasn’t the man many thought he was. He was a blow hard. Mitt was much more then many gave him credit for. Yet they always thought Mitt was a phoney just because of his good looks, as if he could help it. It’s really pathetic.

I don’t. No one’s going to be happy, and I’m not happy, so I respect whatever people decide to do with their vote.

I think the best thing to do is vote 100% republican, but on the top slot if you can’t hold your nose, then write in the best republican who fits your bill. It sends a pro-republican message. But we’re all going to have to make these kinds of decisions on our own. It’s just me in the voting booth.

“The MSM will turn against him in a NYC minute and that will paved the way for the Dems to get the WH”

Hillary hides behind her sex, Obama behind his race and McCain behind his POW status. Plus he is the MSM’s ‘maverick’.....not ours.

They’ll try but will run the risk of angering moderates, independents and pro military Dems. Could very likely backfire.

It is time to do the rebuilding. Over the last few years I have become more independent. The conservitive movement is like a college sports team that needs to go through a period of rebuilding. The GOP has NO spine and the DEMS are corupt. This is the time to move on and rebuild.

What does that mean?

And I know people here take politics seriously, as do I. However, I think all things have humor and it’s really about the fun while being serious and concerned. If we can’t joke and have fun then wth is the point?

I’ve learned tons here (and yeah I could say it more eloquently but say the same thing with less typing).

So what about outstaying an intitial welcome?

Fred endorsed McCain, whom I can’t vote for.

Romney, Fred, Bolton, etc are saying

"This is no longer about past preferences or differences. It is about what is best for our country and for me that means that Republican should close ranks behind John McCain," Thompson said in a statement reported by the Associated Press."Bottom line, folks.

We Stand together or we fall apart"

The MSM has a lot of files on McCain that they would love to reveal bigtime. The MSM really runs the election.
