Told ya so ping

What? That Fred would endorse the eventual Republican nominee, which is what his statement says? What if the leader been Romney instead? Would you have also claimed 'told ya so'?

At long last. This should send every Fredhead into a tizzy. Is this not the mother of flip flops?

I said more than once that Fred was not what people thought he was, but thanks to absolute stupidity and pigheadedness Mitt Romney is out of the race.

If you look at the way this all came together, at one point or another McCain, Huckabee, Giuliani, Thompson, and Hunter all colluded together to bring you a choice that the pro-amnesty, globalist party insiders wanted. The outcome is at complete odds with what the base and the people at large wanted.

We now have a choice between amnesty, amnesty and amnesty. Congratulations schmuckerheads!

Well, I wouldn't hold this against Thompson. Notice that he waited until it was obvious that McCain was going to be the nominee. I seriously doubt Thompson is enthusiastic about it or really wants McCain to be the nominee; otherwise he would have endorsed him earlier.

This is just an attempt to unify the party around the nominee now that the nominating contest is effectively over. Romney essentially did the same thing when he dropped out.
