Fred had to wait until the candidate he was the stalking horse for got out of the race.

LOL! Folks were saying for weeks that Fred was the stalking horse for McCain! Then they were saying that Huckabee was the stalking horse for McCain. Folks need to get their stories straight!

hang me now

You bet they will. Politics is not for fun seekers.

Then there's the little problem of partisans, obviously Republican, treating FR as a house organ. Outstaying an initial welcome frequently causes frayed nerves.

I am afraid that the sheeple don’t know what “resiliency” is, and the Bill Clinton sheeple may not know what “is” is either.

I heard something about that in passing, but never got the whole story. I probably should have at least looked at it, I guess.

I had told a visiting cousin in a prediction that one way or another, a Dem is going to get into the WH in the general election, and in a special way if it ends up being Sen Obama. Had said with Sen. McCain and a Sen. Obama, it could be 1960 all over again. One way or another, McCain is toast.

More like a Friday night Frat Party. Nobody seems to understand the different roles elected officials, professional politicians, political commentators, and activists play in the political system.

Beared repeating

The fact that Rush thinks Jindal (in office just over three weeks) is the next Reagan shows conservative desperation.

The beauty of resiliency is that it doesn’t matter if anyone knows what it is. If you bang your head on a brick wall, do you think the brick wall cares? lol

I was a FredHead who was willing to support Mitt, if he were the eventual nominee. But I did vote for Fred rather than Mitt in the MA primary, just because I could. ;o)

I do think McPain can win some stats that I would have written off a month ago: VA, CO, OR, but would it be enough to matter.

We got to get Conservatives elected at ALL levels—conservatives of all parties. Don’t vote party, vote conservative. We have lost the White House, we must regain the movement. We need conservatives in the state houses and both houses. Find consevatives, support them with all you got. If there isn’t one on the ticket—find one or run yourself. Give up on the Republicrats and vote for any conservative, Constitutionalist, Prohibitionist, Reform, Etc... The Republican party has betrayed us.

HE IS SAYING EXACTLY WHAT ROMNEY SAID THE OTHER DAY WHEN HE STEPPED DOWN TO HELP THE GOP UNITE BEHIND A CANDIDATE QUICKLY IN ORDER TO DEFEAT THE DEMS. This is NOT an endorsement.

Thanks. It bore repeating.

Well, if you like socons than Huck is your man. It’s your vote. Just don’t expect libertarians like me to shut up and go along with it.
