Just broke on Fox - details to come.
ping
It’s a Terry Gilliam movie so be forewarned(that is if your not a Gilliam fan)
except this be dubbed the “Brokebat” movie.
If he was not alone at the house it is going to be an issue. It will be interesting if it was a drug overdose, if someone was there and could have called for help but did not.
No Reese Witherspoon, but it’s one of the few teen movies I can stomach. The dialogue is pretty witty. It’s a take-off of “The Taming of the Shrew.”
Oh that’s right, Monster’s Ball. He was the only thing I liked about that movie. Horrid movie. But he was a good actor.
I for one am taking note of the classless buffoons and will not communicate with them here again
A Knight’s Tale was pretty fun.
OD, no foul play.
Present Girlfriend
Dude really screwed up
Brokeback Mountain upset some people to the extent it may have glorified or normalized or at least created sympathy for homosexuality.
I think it’s a very sad film that deals with the heartbreak of separation, being out of step with society, complicated lifestyles, dishonesty, broken families, etc. In that sense the themes are universal.
I’m not sure it glorified anything, the two men’s lives were irreparably impaired by whatever you want to call it, and in the end Ledger’s one enduring bit of happiness comes from his biological daughter from his traditional marriage.
Why aren’t any of the news agencies running this?
No, Julia Stiles.
It’s cute.
Like he was the only actor who ever played a gay character before? Give me a break.
Golly,
someone that makes you think of her (I can’t think of her name right now).
It’s a teen take on Taming of the Shrew and it’s actually good, with a good moral and decent acting.
Wow. I thought I was the only one who enjoyed “A Knight’s Tale”. It’s super high up there on my list of guilty pleasure movies.
Yet another name to add to the list of entertainers I have to pray for, in return for the little bit of enjoyment they gave.
More via TMZ ...
“We’re told when paramedics responded the actor was in full cardiac arrest. They attempted to perform CPR on him, but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Never mind. Fox news just ran it.
He was very talented, loved alot of his movies-Brothers Grimm, 10 things, Casanova, Knight’s tale, the Patirot.
Aside from Brokeback Mountain, he was really good about choosing movie roles.
Coincidentally, I saw some pics of Heath Ledger recently, and he didn’t look too good. Anyone know if this was accidental, or a suicide?
