Brit Hume just called it.
I’m guessing the Hillary! campaign is working hard on these types of photos. Most likely with lots of Islamic symbols and hypodermic needles and crack vials. She isn’t going to let some nobody from Chicago take her prize.
I expect to see Mitt in a red and black flannel shirt shortly after arriving in South Carolina. More appealing to the locals, you know.
OTOH, if he remains true to his sartorial philosophy, I might consider him a little less slick.
This will be the acid test for me :-)
Thank you.
Dennis Prager may not get the ratings the other do but I say he has the best program of them all.
Romney/Allen might be interesting.
Nope, unless the gun is an “assault weapon”, “extremely dangerous”, or “not suitable for hunting or sporting” or a “civilian sniper rifle” or “semiauto handgun”.
We can keep what’s left. he’s clearly and consistently opposed civilian ownership of “assault weapons”, however he defines that vague term.
What did Mitt do for Massachusetts gun owners other than give them a smaller license to own a gun and require that the State Police give a receipt for confiscated guns? Oh yeah, muzzleloader hunters did not have to unload before crossing a road.
Judge Robert Bork, who believes that the second amendment means that a citizen can join a state militia if he wants a gun, endorsed Mitt and Mitt was very pleased to get the endorsement.
-—Or Romney/Thompson.-—
That would be good. There’s a chance we Republicans will pull this out after all!
there should be a WRITE IN RUSH effort if a RINO gets the nomination.
I heard he plays opposite Rush. That is not a very good idea.
“The guy is a phoney. He’ll NEVER get my vote. It’s Hunter, Thompson or third party for me.”
Great, then it’s Hillary for all of us. Thanks!
Yes he does. Prager is delayed here so I still get to listen to both.
How come the NRA endorsed the gun bill in Mass?
Hey. Yes I took my metamucil and all is well. LOL!
Yes... well.. I don’t “Know” Dingy Harry.... but, I suspect that.. even he, says he’s “personally opposed” to abortion, but supports a woman’s “right to choose”.
Harry is a Dem... who needs DEM votes... so, he will ‘modify’ his position as much as he needs to, to win!
Feb 18 transcript in which Romney supports banning certain classes of firearms [The second amendment does not have a list of acceptedly weapons]:
Stephanopoulos: Lets talk about guns. You were supportive of the Brady bill, the handgun waiting period, in the past. You signed an assault weapon ban into law and you said, in the past, I dont line up with the NRA.
Now, you
Mitt Romney: Well, on that issue.
Stephanopoulos: Now youre a member of the NRA.
Mitt Romney: Yes, and I know the NRA does not support an assault weapon ban. So I dont line up on that particular issue with the NRA, either does President Bush. He likewise says he supported an assault weapon ban. [Ill point out that Bush is not running- is Romney saying hes another Bush?]
Today we dont have the Brady bill because we have instantaneous background checks. Thats no longer a operative or needed measure. [So I should be immune to criticism that I once supported it].
But Im a strong proponent of Second Amendment rights. I believe people, under our Constitution, have the right to bear arms. [Just not assault weapons]
We have a gun in one of our homes. Its not owned by me, its owned by my son, but Ive always considered it sort of mine. [I didnt really lie when I said I owned a gun but didnt]
Stephanopoulos: When did you join the NRA?
Mitt Romney: Within the last year and I signed up for a lifelong membership. I think theyre doing good things and I believe in supporting the right to bear arms.
Ive been a hunter all my life, not frequently, but as a boy, when I worked on a ranch in Idaho, we used to go out shooting rabbits, because they were eating all the barley, and I got pretty good with a single shot .22 rifle, and been quail hunting more recently [at a photo-op hunt with other politicians].
So Im a hunter and believe in Second Amendment rights, but I also believe that assault weapons are not needed in the public population.
[end transcript]
Romneys support of the Second Amendment does not include those firearms that Mitt Romney thinks are assault weapons. I sure would like to know what his definition is, wouldnt you?
Those mitts were great, I love them!
