How come the NRA endorsed the gun bill in Mass?
Did they endorse it at first, or after the fact? I believe that they opposed it at first.
NRA usually sends out panic alerts that a bill MUST be stopped. If it is not, they brag about their compromise, then later, suggest that it’s a good thing.
Brady Instant Check, GCA 68, and NFA are prime examples. With NFA, the brag is that the original bill included handguns, and NRA compromised it out.
The NRA has had a part in writing every federal piece of gun legislation.
They aren’t as pro-2nd Amendment as one would hope.
