Maybe the inconsistency is b/c the RNC is sanctioning MI for holding its primary too early...Now that this primary is over, why the heck did it matter when we had the Republican Primary in Michigan? Why steal our delegates?

Mark simply said people should vote for Romney today. IN fact, in the thread where someone posted that he said that, Mark himself showed up to make it clear he had simply said people should vote for Romney, NOT that he endorsed Romney.
It’s a fun thread, because some of the more strident posters took the “Levin endorses Romney” comment and called Mark Levin a chickenhawk, and Mark had a few choice words back about that.

” I still think it is brilliant that Mitt stole McCains thunder by doing his speech. “
THAT was a beautiful moment.

Thompson/Romney, I could support that.

you just know that when push comes to shove the GOP will relent and give these states their delegates back. screwing around with FL is stupid.

I’d like to see a VP from the West. Can’t come up with any names right now.
If Hillary’s on the ticket, we can carry the south with half our brains tied behind our backs.
The west and upper midwest will be the battleground.

Mitt Romney stops McCain in Michigan, gaining the respect and gratitude of all true conservatives!

No true conservative would toss out their principles and vote for RINO Romney...

He also said he was strong on National Security. If that's so, why was/is he so in favor of shamnesty and not closing the border and building the fence?
McCain also opposes waterboarding.

Who was another big loser tonite (besides McCain)? The MSM. Their efforts to force McCain on the GOP is falling apart. Good point. Yesss!!!
To: madison10
We only lost half of them and they will probably be reinstated before the convention.

Yes Fox seems to be upset by the win. What's with FOX and Mitt? I don't recall him pissing on their shoes.

I think you're right. The early state strategy is all about "The Big Mo'", but, so far, no man has won two states in a row. That bodes well for those who focused on later states, meaning Rudy and, to a lesser extent, Fred. It certainly does not help those who've spent their wad in Iowa and New Hampshire.
I think you're going to see a lot more of Fred if he wins South Carolina, and a whole lot more of Rudy in the runup to Florida regardless. That could put a whole lot of play into some already fluid national numbers going into Super Tuesday.
I don't think we'll really know anything about where this race is going until February 6th.

CNN is reporting that exit polling revealed that 68% of republicans voted in this primary as opposed to the 52% which voted in 2000. McCain’s independents weren’t here to rescue him and the republicans came out very strong for the Mittster.

it would be like the New England Patriots going 0-6 to start the season so they could save their best for the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts games. But if there were 50 games in a season, instead of 16 it might make sense. Rudys strategy may not work, but so far it is right on track to what he said it would be from the get go!
I don't think anyone thought that his polls would fall so far, but this game is so wide open with Mitts win tonight, that anything can happen.
Heck Fred supporters are rightfully pointing out that he may go from single digits in South Carolina last week to a possible 1st or 2nd this week, why can't Rudy do the same with the States he is targeting?
