Love to see Jeri as First Lady (FLILF?)

She'd be the hottest first lady since Dolly Madison.

OMG!

Y’all are gonna LOVE this one. Jim Geraghty, NRO “The Campaign Spot”:

“Winner: Thompson.
This performance was so commanding, I wanted his last answer to echo back to the lights in the back of the auditorium, blow out all the lamps and spotlights, for the theme to “the Natural” to play, and for him to trot around the stage in slow motion while sparks showered down in the background.”

This is NOT a writer known for hyperbole. I think he liked Fred tonight!

I grew up there and we would have hispanic (d) vs hispanic (r)
very often. My professor at UNM, noted it as well, when I called him on it.

F. Chris Garcia told me, “I must admit, New Mexico is a strange place.” He basically said that, the Spanish who came to New Mexico stayed. They have been here longer than than most, besides the Indians. They have built strong traditions and ties to the state.

Just from what I know and grew up with. things may have changed, but not that much.

“Rich Is Right About S.C. [Michael Graham]

I was talking to one of the best political flaks in SC today, and he sees the scenario laid out perfectly: Fred vs. Huck in SC means that, if Romney stumbles in Michigan, McCain is all but a shoo-in with a plurality win.

IN fact, he openly speculated that Fred is in to keep the conservative vote split so that McCain can avoid the showdown with the Right that he can’t possibly win in SC.”

~~~~~~
“Re: Finally! [Peter Robinson]
As is his wont, Rich is just exactly right. Was Thompson’s performance tonight a one-off? The old lion finally, overawingly—but, alas, temporarily—roused? Will he settle back into slumber tomorrow? And just what was he up to? Clawing Huckabee out of sheer annoyance? Or establishing himself as king of the jungle? And if the latter, why not a paw or two in the direction of McCain?
We’ll know soon—in my judgment, Thompson need only sustain this performance for a couple of days before votes, and money, start moving in his direction. But tonight the one consistent and authentic conservative in this race made himself the man to watch. When Fred roars, he roars.”
Fred will win SC now
Fred just WON THE ENTIRE SOUTH, not just SC
You can put Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, N.Carolina, Louisiana etc etc all in the Fred column.
re #2679 McCain just said to Alan Colmes welcome to his show, “I’m gald to be her your JERK!”
I think i heard him say “I’m always glad to be here with you jerks” and both Hannity and Colmes laughed good naturedly...They all seemed at ease
Fox just showed the voting order and it is alphabetical...oh well...can’t see, can hear—sometimes..:-)
Luntz says FRED won, RuPaul lost.
Woo-hoo! You do realize that Luntz has all the credibility of Dan Rather, right?
I remember getting so anxious during the W and Gore debates hoping W would not make a mistake. That is how I feel about Fred right now, be perfect Fred, be perfect. Show your stuff.
I agree with your scorecard, except that I’d put McCain last.
Thompson really pleasantly surprised me tonight. He has gotten a bum rap in the MSM and the polls, imho.
I was going to give L.Ron charge of the D.C. Zoo.
But hey, you’re idea seems more trenchant somehow.
