“Not That this Is Worth Anything [Mark Hemingway]

But Luntz’s post-debate focus group is a Thompson love-in.”

I don't know about Luntz. He's liable to stack the deck in Huckabee's favor. I'm dead serious.

Not so far. Big win for Fred according to focus group.

Frank Luntz’s focus group is the kiss of death. Not a good sign for Thompson. Its too bad because Fred did pretty good.

I reject lumping all Christians together like we all think and act alike. We may be similar but we don’t all know each other and brainstorm together. It’s ridiculous and I blame the media.

Excuse me Sir, but if you are not a Romney basher, then I might need a new Radixionary.

In fact you have been slamming the man regularly out here for some time now.

That is OK with me.

Please use your words and not your resume to make your points. I mean, that is just a suggestion.

I understand why folks do not care for the man.

I happen to have lived here in the Boston area during his tenure as Governor, and he was better than all of the other Governors in my adulthood.

You have your opinions, and I have my own.

I can’t describe just what it is that annoys me about your posts, but it is something.

I bare you no personal ill will.

This debate tonight looked like a cabinet meeting in a Thompson Administration.

McCain keeps trying to pretend that THE FENCE is our only concern on immigration.

Mclames plan is have two are three governors sign something, a paper bag probably, saying the make believe fence is up and then have his and his friend ted's and gramnesty amnesty plan pass..

The Fox focus group says Fred won. If he does better in the campaign, who will he draw support from, in your opinion?

Republicans

FRed is surging, and even FoxNews can't keep it quiet....

He did well tonite, even though his amount of air-time/questions was kept to a minimum by the FoxNews staffers.....

“Did you hear Fred say that we should “trust the Fed”? I found that disturbing.”

On economics Paul smoked Fred.

I don’t trust the fed at all.

However, Paul can’t win. Overall Fred was the best tonight. I was especially impressed that he was the only candidate to draw blood from Hucklebee.

Fred is trailing badly in the polls in SC. It remains to be seen if the debate will have any major impact on his numbers.

Brit was downright ignorant, questioning the decisions of naval commanders on the scene -— and he got hammered for his trouble by Thompson, Romney and, especially, McCain.

Score one for the adults.

Well the voters have spoken and said that Fred Thompson won the debate according to FNC. My comments that Mike Huckabee won the debate is my own personal opinion and I strongly believe it.

The media is going to get this one wrong too. Fox’s agenda is to undercut Huckabee just like they did in Iowa. Luntz’s room was packed with “Fred” supporters. The giveaway was that they all addressed F.T as “Fred.”

The Republican elite fear Huck. Methinks there will be a surprise in S.C. I called it in Iowa and got it right.
