A third party vote would ensure a Democrat victory. I do not like John McCain but I would have to vote for him. On the other hand, I am a Libertarian. Maybe I would start voting party lines as I live in Connecticut and my vote really doesn't matter here anyway.

“I’ll vote for whoever the Republicans put up. Any of them would be better than Hillary or the other RAT candidates.”

I totally agree with you.

I vote every time the voting booth is open.

I make my fight in the primary and vote for the Republican in the general election.

Good question.

I can hold my nose and vote for Romney, and clamp it shut and vote for McCain.

Huck or Rudy would make me vote Libertarian, which is precisely what I did in 1996, when I cast my first ever Presidential vote for Harry Browne.

Yes, because I will also be voting for Senator Lizzy Dole.

And “No” I would not be in love with doing that, but a vista of 8 yrs of Hillary is too terrible to contemplate.

Might ultimately depend on the VP Candidate running with McCain. I have no delusions about John. He’s a liberal in RINO clothing. I’ve railed long and hard about single issue litmus tests, but his immigration stand is highly odiferous, and that claptrap campaign reform legislation he sponsored reeks to high Heaven.

BUT...I would grudgingly have to vote for him, if he’s running with a more conservative VP candidate (Cheney, again?).

I would really prefer to have a candidate I could support, rather than be in a position of having to select the lesser of two evils, again. There’s been far too much of that in the years I’ve been going to the election booth.

I will cast a vote AGAINST the Dim if the nominee is H, O or E.

I will NOT be voting FOR any major presidential candidate this year.

Here is my list, in order of preference:

I would vote for these any time:

1- Thompson
2- Hunter

I would hold my nose on these, but that’s only if you drag me to the polling place, and gave me a mind altering drug:

3- McCain
4- Huckabee
5- Romney

I would never ever ever vote for one of these:

6- Giuliani
7- Paul

Conservatives, correct that, Americans who refuse to vote for McCain vs Hilary/Obama are idiots. He’s not my choice, but he’s pro life, pro national defense, pro WOT. Those are the major requirements for our nation. The dems are the opposite.

Talk about a rock and a hard spot! At the moment, no I’d vote Constitution Party. Come election day, if it was close? Maybe. But after 8 years Bush I don’t think it will be close.

I’m hoping for a contested convention and the selection of an “exciting” conservative Governor.

McCain is world’s away from Rudy and Mitt. Unless McCain changes his positions about taxes, immigration, and idiotic statements about the war on terror statements, I will not vote for him. I will vote for other Republicans except Ron Paul.
