1) Vote for McCain
2) Vote Dims - Kevorkian vote
3) Don't vote
4) Third party?
Yes, I do. You've just explained yourself quite well.
Take care,
- John
So would McCain - so what’s the difference ? Remember, it was the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty bill ?
Do you have an answer to my question as to whether or not Ronald Reagan compromised when he chose Richard Schweiker and GHW Bush as vice-presidential running mates?
Why in the name of God would I support the moron that brought us campaign finance reform?
Not as much of a difference as the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Republicans who simply stayed home rather than vote for Dole.
Now, until I am forced to make that choice, I will do what I can to ensure that we have a better choice- Thompson.
Ditto every word above
A vote not taken or a vote on a third party - is a vote against our troops - spitting in their faces, their mission and their sacrifices.
and a vote against our flag and our freedoms.
It's disheartening to see so much uber-ego ignorance even in FR
Just don't count on my help doing it.
Not to mention that McCain threw the POW/MIA group under the bus, in conjunction with John Kerry.
Because the Rinos inhabiting this forum will accuse you of hating the troops ... and disliking apple pie ... and being mean to fluffy little bunnies ... if you don’t support McRomnabee.
“If McCain wins the nomination, will you support him?’”
NO
Using your logic, that would imply that at least 25% of our troops are against themselves. I think it's a fair assumption that at least 25% of our military will vote Democrat.
If the nominee is McCain or Huckabee, it is going to be extremely difficult for me to hold my nose again, after voting for Rick Perry in 2006.
Fortunately, there's still plenty of time, and I've got a large supply of popcorn.
The stridency in your posts is not persuasive.
He didn’t feel the same way when he and John Kerry screwed the POW/MIA folks.
me either - and i will hold my nose and close my eyes but i will never cast a vote for the wicked witch....
Yes, I will vote for McCain without hesitation over the Democrats, ESPECIALLY Hillary Clinton.
“But Im recently thinking that 4 years of the Dems may not be a bad thing in the long run, because a disasterous liberal term will enable the conservative party to regain its strength and possibly take over the WH and Congress/Senate 4 years after that.”
If McCain is elected president, he will complete the destruction of the GOP base that GHWB and GWB have started.
Principles before party.
>>>>America will survive Clinton or Obama
>>after they’ve turned Iraq/Afghanistan and the rest of the world over to the islamofacists?
>>A vote put ANYwhere but for a republican, is a vote against our troops - and our flag.
>>Grow up, get your heads out of the sand, or wherever you have it stuck
I didn’t say it’d be pretty, but America will survive it. We survived 8 years of Clinton and 4 years of Carter. And, despite their best efforts, we are still standing. Have a little faith.
My vote must be earned. I will not be bullied into voting for a liberal just because the other liberal is worse. For the last 20 years, people like you have made the same argument every election. There hasn’t been a conservative on the Republican ticket since Reagan in 1983. Think about that. It’s time for the RINOs to be “team players” for a change.
The leadership of the Republican party has chosen McCain? Where are you getting that from?
Post of the Day, IMHO. The hyperbolic atmosphere within this thread is off the meter.
Who is "them"?
Yes.
