Republican Presidential Candidate Debate #14 Milford, New Hampshire 01/06/08 - Official Discussion Thread
Fox News Channel; Roundtable format
Candidates the gatekeepers are allowing to participating:
That is probably who you will get if Romney gets sunk. Not my pick.
How's Rudi supposed to know his best friend is mobbed up? Anybody could have missed that one.
Romney will never be POTUS because to be elected POTUS on the GOP side you have to win the southern states and he will not do that.
Christians won't vote for him, white men won't vote for him and blacks certainly won't vote for him
Maybe you are in love with him and that is clouding your vision.
Romney is UNELECTABLE.
I beg to differ. We certainly have our share of A holes (95%) but those dopes I saw at the Iowa D caucuses were even more MOONBATTY and pokier than our biggest buttholes.
Go ahead and stab the troops in the back, they’ll love you for it. /s
What? Good grief, are you sure? Yeesh... I think I wish I didn't know that. Hopefully Campaign Carl doesn't share his wife's love of the Hildabeast... :-(
What’s the buzz you’re hearing in SC about him? And- Huckabee?
Good answer. That post to you was the weirdest one of the night.
:-)
If anyone cares, I rented that flick “3:10 to Yuma” this weekend and it’s really good if you like westerns. (As if there’s anyone who doesn’t like westerns.)
Disagree. Fred is indeed electable. Huck will inevitably fall. Romneys in trouble. McCains a bit touched in the head. Rudys cant draw the base. Fred will be the last man standing - youd see this if you opened your mind and thoughts.

Then Fred will need a lot of $$ to last to the finish. Now is the time to financially support your candidate, especially if it’s Fred.
you wont make me go back through all the posts, would you ?
What was Britt’s sound bite ?
thanks
I would do what I could to sink his boat now then, because they are just beginning to drag out the dirt on Giuliani.
Which brings up a question that’s been on my mind the past week:
Why does the Republican party allow Iowa and New Hampshire such a prominent role. As the conservative party, it should be conservatives who choose the nominee.
Even though there are Republicans in both those states, they are, typically, hardly as conservative as those in other states which would have a far more legitimate claim in controlling the direction of the nomination process.
How can we change the situation?
As I said before, that is your opinion. I’ve done pretty well in figuring these things out. We shall see. I will vote for anyone we send up agains the Democrats. The alternative is to unbearable. That said, I think Mitt is our best choice.
Point-taken.
Good luck to you and that double-talking, snake oil selling, slick as grease, used car salesman from Hope Ar-Kansas, Michael Dale Huckabee.
In today's shallow, celebrity heavy, beautiful people world, neither Abe Lincoln, George Washington, nor any of the founding father Presidents could be elected.
vaudine
Dude, even the “great” Clinton couldn’t pull those numbers....LOL
L0L! But the canoli’s! The wonderful canoli’s!
LOL!
An EIB Republican debate is a GREAT idea!! Rush, are you on the board tonight???????
