I thought the time was right to start up a live thread for results and comments about tonight, so here we are!
Like I said, asking the right question and getting the right answer is where it’s at. The right question has to do with the Religious Right getting the results for their votes...
You’ve got plenty of those talk shows out there (in “religious right land”) talking about not getting the results for the votes. If they end up splitting off it won’t do anyone any good...
I mean you need to testify on your application for membership in the Republican Party, dont you? ( sarc.)
All kidding aside, I agree with you 100%.
I think that both Romney and Huckabee made a vast mistake by turning to their religious carpet bagging mode to win in Iowa. It will haunt them into oblivion, as it should. Every megalomanic born again conservative no thinks we are tantamount to the second coming, and mixing religious doctrine with the fundamental issues which need to be canvassed by this campaign, such as the fundamental issues continually referenced by Duncan Hunter.
I have had enough of this "glory hallelujah" bull crap, just as you have.
Like you > I coould care less what religion our candidates have, I am more concerned with their record and strengths on issues that now face the nation. I don't think that the good lord is going to come riding in on a team of white horses to save our nation. We must assure that security througth logic, scrutiny and debate.
Praying is good for the soul, but you can pray forever and still not invoke the policies necessary for the security of the nation or for the evolution among us , of a more perfect union, which is the true goal of our Republic, rather than the religion based division and disunity of our citizenry inherant in this drivil we have seen from Huckabee and Romney.
OH DEAR! very vaguely.
I don’t carry a lot of memories of a lot of frays forward. My mind has plenty of current stuff to process! LOL.
Thankfully, I don’t carry grudges forward either.
Am humbled and honored by your precious words. Thanks enormously.
Do you have my email? My defenders hereon are so . . . well . . . overtly and brazenly are few, it seems! LOL.
But I get a surprising amount of support privately.
I greatly appreciated your support on that thread. I do recall that feeling of deep appreciation toward you, now.
Bless you greatly for that.
Thanks for your kind reply.
I didn’t realize that I was trying to do that, actually...
Those who set themselves up as little gods have a way of falling off the pedestal.
Oh, that’s easy to explain... McManiac and Geerooliana are long past me talking about them... LOL...
Harpy’s Done. She is hated by her Party more than ours.
Other than that Mrs Kennedy, how was Dallas??
Pray for W and Our Troops
Tom is battling with the Fox News Network who has all but proclaimed Huckabee the Republican Nominee.
How dreadfully disappointing.
Maybe Chuck needs to stick to helping children and managing his reruns.
I can't run. I wasn't born in the USA. My parents came here legally for the opportunities in America. 38 years later it seems that Americans don't want opportunities...they want Government guarantees.
You’re welcome. :)
I don't particularly consider Iowa a "bellweather" state, but it sure is SWEET to see that sad, empty Hillary Clinton venue, as of a few minutes ago on Fox News. Reporter said they're mopping up and closing the place down. I love seeing that tonight, but just KNOW the bit** will be back with a vengeance.
What worries me most are the "on the ground" reports that there's so much excitement in the Obama and democRAT camps, and very little enthusiasm in the GOP camps, as Laura Ingraham just admitted... :-(
In NH, I expect that either Romney or McCain will win. Ron Paul should make a fairly strong showing, as there are a lot of libertarians in NH.

And your statements don’t make it truth... :-)
Only God’s Word (of the 66 books from those 40 authors that God chose) is what counts. And on that basis — Momonism is a cult...
No matter which way you want to chew this one around, Christianity is not Mormonism and Mormonism is not Christianity...
Huckabee sounds like a touchy feely sunday school teacher, great, just what we need
Mitt just became too expensive for the GOP Money boys...
"You're only alive right now because I'm in Iowa"
look... very unsettling.
1546 of 1781 Precincts Reporting - 87%
Name Party Votes Vote %
Huckabee, Mike GOP 35,621 34%
Romney, Mitt GOP 26,524 25%
Thompson, Fred GOP 13,932 13%

Hunter, Duncan GOP 458 0%

Interesting thought from another board,
How can Ron Paul with 10% be excluded from future debates if Giuliani is allowed to attend with only 3%?
Yes, I was in Mark’s thread earlier and listening to KPAM...
When Simone came on I switched to Roger Hedgecock on KOGO
