Ron PaulPots' MoveOn/GeorgeSoros Support!

Desperate to take support from wherever he can get it.

Some - well more like all of two readers have gotten a little cross-eyed over the fact that I dared to imply that George Soros/MoveOn forces were working covertly to assist the most Soros-like candidate on the GOP ticket.

The truth is some of the support has been covert, some of it rather obvious...

For instance one MoveOn group assisted in the funding and production of this television ad:

You'd think that instead of relying on negative attacks on a candidate that they insist can never win the nomination, some of these Paul-haters would focus on doing something, anything really, to actually help their own candidate.

The majority of them either don't have a candidate or are afraid of admitting who they support on a conservative forum. Paul is universally hated on all the Rudy forums that have popped up, you know.

Fear mongers ike Paul will always find willing paranoids. Fortunately there aren’t too many of those running around except among dems.

Oh, please. That's just laughable.

You mean like those who still fall for the "WMD in Iraq, Saddam will attack us with his anthrax-laden paper airplanes of death" crowd? Even when the Bush administration itself denies there were WMD in Iraq? Or maybe those "paranoids" who want to attack and possibly nuke Iran despite our intel agencies unanimously telling us that there is no current Iranian nuke program?

"Willing paranoids" may describe many Republicans and their candidates in the current race. But Ron Paul supporters the least of all.

You and your ilk would lead this country into the pit of hell in order to further vague ideological goals.

Dangerously Infantile.

Wow they are desparate...You’d think that money could be better spent on promoting their candidates. Oh wait, I guess they need to make the GOP look like a side-show circus to take attention away from the center ring while the hildabeast gets setup for her big finale.

Nothing is being exposed. At worst, there are a few anti-war leftists that have been attracted to Ron Paul’s campaign. I’ve never denied that there are some, but they’re not his entire base of support. Some don’t care about his other views, some don’t understand them, but best of all, some are learning about and taking a liking to them. However, it is not “proof” of anything, and it’s certianly not proof that George Soros is funding Paul’s campaign, as has been suggested by many. MoveOn is nothing but a website - anybody can become a member.

In the end, I care about the message itself, not if some people have been attracted to it for the wrong reasons. If some are Truthers, leftists, or racists, then they’re the ones with the problem, not me, Dr. Paul, or the majority of normal Americans supporting his campaign.

I have not read or heard about it, but I guess Tancredo stepped out today. Good luck to him, very strong on immigration.

Tom is gone already? Too bad really. I've always liked him. He led on the borders issue back when it was very very unpopular to speak out. And no one can ever take away Duncan's leadership on the fence in 2006. As bad as 2006 was, without Duncan's fence bill, it would have been a total GOP bloodbath.

OTOH, word is out that the Tancredo folk in NH will come over to the Paul campaign en masse. It's been a settled matter for some time now. I could easily see Tancredo or Hunter tapped for jobs like DHS or SecDef in a Paul administration.

Are you up for a role as Drama Queen at the local community playhouse or something? Who talks like that? Geez.

Screen names mean things. My screen name is baby talk for sister, my brother named me. I have always wondered about yours.

Thanks for the link.

Notice who Time Ragazine chose for "man of the year"!

A murdering communist!

Notice also the write-up on Ron Paul:

Millions of dollars poured into his quixotic presidential campaign, raising an inevitable question: What's next for this free-thinking and strangely compelling grassroots crusader?

Quixotic (hinting at lunacy)

Free-thinking (they are 180 wrong on that one)

strangely (blatant attempt at marginalizing his campaign)

A nice exercise for the reader is to Google the screen names of the Paul-haters on the Rudybot forums.

You'll find half of them are members of the Rudybot forums though they claim to be all for Fred here at FR.

Just don't post the results of your Google search back here at FR. They'll try to get you banned if you whip back the covers and expose their documented Rudy connections.

Given that half of the Paul-haters are actually Rudi supporters who only pretend to like Fred for the time being, I'm proud to bear their puny scorn. It's a badge of honor to be so reviled by the secretive followers of a strutting autocratic authoritarian like the leftwing mayor.

May be speculation at this moment or it has passed. Tancredo has called for a news conference today. I am not getting real time news, so it may have taken place already.

Let me know if you hear anything and I will do the same.

We have a big tent, Tancredo’s supporters are welcomed. LOL

IIRC, one of Soros’ most heartfelt issues is the legalization of all drugs. It would make sense that he would want to support a Libertarian candidate.

You nailed it again. They give him recognition, but it comes with a price. Another attempted punch in the gut by our MSM.

GWB wrote Paul is responsible for cancer. Lets see who picks that up and runs an article about it.

Everything is Bush’s fault from the democrats. Now everything is Ron Paul’s fault from the democrats and some rino republicans.

Oh the screams, tantrums and "abuse button" abuses these Paultards levelled against me when I called them dupes for moveon, soros and nut-men-a-job.

To all Paultards with Freerepublic accounts....apologize now!!!

"Good to see I was right"

Isn't it like talking to 6 year olds? I have a few GBs worth of bandwidth arguing the same things to the Paultards here. My instincts told me that extreme leftist were supporting and funding Ron Paul, but the idiot Ron Paul supporters who infest Freerepublic still profusely spam this forum with Al Qaeda proxy talking points.
