Desperate to take support from wherever he can get it.
Some - well more like all of two readers have gotten a little cross-eyed over the fact that I dared to imply that George Soros/MoveOn forces were working covertly to assist the most Soros-like candidate on the GOP ticket.
The truth is some of the support has been covert, some of it rather obvious...
For instance one MoveOn group assisted in the funding and production of this television ad:

Paul needs better campaign managers. He's a front-runner now, and clearly the staff he has now is out of their league. Jesse Benton & Kent Snyder should be out there with press conferences denouncing all of this crap.
It's really remarkable what's happening here, this race is very unprecedented that's for sure.

Kent Snyder appears to be a smart guy, but again, I know there are better guys out there. RP's supporters are what is getting the campaign dollars and getting the word out. Jesse is a rookie and I will leave it at that.
Paul has the funds now to get the leaders he needs.
Responding to all these ridicules claims does take him off his message. Watch the Cavuto interview if you haven't already. Paul does address a few of these issues.
Again, I agree with you. Looking forward to the continued positive changes for his campaign.

Not to say that “I told you so” to some of the Paul people on this board, but I’ve been saying this ever since August, and taken a lot of heat for it.

This has been my contention as well. Paul is an attempt at injecting a 5th column into the Republican party. His followers are leftists, pot heads, and myopic fools.
To: jodiluvshoes
Some of us have though much of Paul’s rabid support came from the left but you won’t convince his rabid supporters on FR.

Extremely Extreme Extremist and George W. Bush, the two primary supporters have screen names that are a bit strange IMHO. They almost seem like what a leftist would consider a parody of what a conservative is.
Not accusing or anything, but sure is strange IMHO.

While that's true, your screen name implies that you're Hillary's personal chief of staff...or at least Donna Shalala. ;-)

I agree. I've seen better commercials done by amateurs on You Tube than what the official campaign does.

for why it is what it is.
Understand...just hope that an appreciation for the patently absurd doesn't mean you're a Ron Paul supporter. ;-)
To: jodiluvshoes
I hope he runs as a third party candidate.
He’ll steal many, many votes fron the Dem candidate.

I was stunned to see some ‘yard’ (in commercial areas) signs for Paul in my area (NE TX). I have not seen any for another candidate, D or R.

That's funny. No, Paul is too absurd for my taste. He makes me think of Gollum in Lord of the Rings.

Well, maybe not biblical. Roman Empire proportions, then.
I thought it was only of Greek city-state proportions myself. ; )
