Gleen Beck had Pastor John Hagee on his show last night. They discussed the end times. I think this was one of the best interviews I have seen in a long time. It was very interesting. Did anyone see it? Here is the transscript

Hagee is very good, especially on end times. He’s one of the few good TV evangelists.

The mark of the beast perhaps.

I'm so grateful to hear other Americans reacting this way. This is your liberty-reflex. It was given to you by your spiritual and cultural underpinnings (you know, the ones that are being undermined daily by the powers that be).

Relish it. Nurture it. And be prepared for what comes next.

I’m beginning to see that.

I wasn’t familiar with him.

Thanks for the heads up!

There have been more than enough postings on this thread proving that the Christians of the Age of Grace will not be on earth to experience the Tribulation. There has been Scripture posted on this thread proving that there will be people who did not accept Christ during the Age of Grace who will go into the Tribulation and will accept Christ during that time and will still suffer the judgment of the Tribulation and who will be killed by the Antichrist.

Not one of the verses you just posted disproves a pre-Tribulation rapture. Not one.

Now you obviously have your own reasons for believing that Christians will go through the Tribulation; however, you have not made your case to me whatsoever.

There will be plagues of God during the Tribulation. So what? What does that have to do with people who accept Christ during the time when He has made Himself available to man for salvation? They won't be around for the plagues. What on earth does that prove?

You simply cannot use Scripture to justify your belief. It just isn't there. You can believe what you want, but the Scripture isn't there to back you up.

Look, Giovanna, it was you who argued for removal before the tribulation based on the scriptural fact that Christians are not appointed to the wrath of God. That is chief among pretrib objections to the post-trib position. And a good one.

What I have been trying to show you that, unless you

have aligned yourself with the antichristian one world government

are a persecutor of the saints

are a blasphemer of God because of these plagues

refuse to repent

are going to be part of the antichrist’s kingdom

will participate at Armageddon against Christ

are part of the great whore, Mystery Babylon

Then your objection goes away. You don’t sound like you are a person that fits any of the above. Therefore, none of it is aimed at you. You have nothing to fear from the wrath of God, the antichrist’s wrath? Well, you’ll have to endure it. But not God’s wrath.

Plus, you have the promise of Christ’s coming as a thief in the night at the end of tribulation. There is your promise of deliverance.

Can you please post the Scriptures that talk about the Church during the Tribulation?

Thanks.

"Many Bible expositors believe the Bible points to Christian being removed before the Tribulation...."

Although I'm not 100% sold on the rapture, the arguments you discuss from the book of Revelation are the best in my book. Also, it is both chapters 2 and 3 which consist of the letters to the 7 churchs. At the end of each letter there is a blessing bestowed for those who perservere and certain language used, when compared to verses in 4-22, strongly suggests the chuch won't be around for the tribulation.

Also, the idea of the rapture isn't new and didn't start with Darby. In the early 4th Century, Church father Ephrem wrote his sermon "Sermon on the End of the World" were he stated all the Saints would be gathered together before the tribulation and taken to the Lord. Churh father Tertullian suggests in his commentaries on Revelation the Church will not suffer through the tribulation. In the 17th Century theologin Joseph Mede wrote of the rapture. The rapture isn't new - nothing is new.

"When I start to liking someone they don't seem to stay around long". "Yeah, well I notice when you take a disliking to someone, they don't stay around long either."

I have some relatives who are serious Jews so they made aliyah (return) to Israel. They are from San Antonio and know Pastor John Hagee very well and like what he has to say

Hagee is one of the best friends of Israel. Better than many US Jews

"Hagee is one of the best friends of Israel. Better than many US Jews"

Hagee also argues there is another route to salvation for the Jews other than Jesus Christ and he's left the Bible on that one.

Just for me——

I’m a 1000% Jewish born& bred
For me Jesus Christ is for the Christians and is a valid prophet & savior for Christians even though I do not understand or participate in this
This is Christian territory and Christian founded America is the best place for Jews to live except for Israel

But Mohammad is fake phony psycho killer. Much different than Jesus who was a Jewish rabbi.

And I wish all Christians well in your Jesus based Christianity.

I like/love the Christmas time of the year

Giovanna,

I hope you won’t take this wrong, but it is not we post-tribbers who have the burden of proof to prove this thing you ask. It is the pretribbers.

Christ himself in the Olivet Discourse (Matt. 24) laid the basics down. He taught us not to look for his coming except the one described in v. 29-31 “immediately after the tribulation of those days.”

As to the epistles, they merely followed Christ’s teaching already established in Matt. 24. They said nothing about another coming other than the one in Matt. 24:29-31 after the tribulation - in which the trumpet sounds and the saints are gathered.

And there is no reason that the Revelation would insert something that had not been already previously established. Therefore the post-trib second coming and rapture in Revelation is the same one in Matt. 24 and in the epistles.

It is the pretribbers who have the burden of proof to prove otherwise - that Paul introduced another coming and rapture additional to the one Christ taught.

The passages in Thessalonians and elsewhere that pretribbers use are merely talking about different aspects of the same event Jesus described in Matt. 24:29-31. If it were a new additional coming, then Paul would have said so. Hence, it is the same one.

Difference between me and liberal Jewish idiots is that I view Christianity as entirely valid within the Christian experience. Which I as a Jew was not born into

No way is Islam the same. Muhammad was a fake prophet and his followers want to subjugate all Christians and Jews

When preachers are moved by the Holy Spirit-they are wondrous to behold. They pull you right in with them.
