Prayer request: humblegunner is ill [Update @ #707]

humblegunner has been in the hospital since last Wednesday, October 3.

He has been extremely ill and today, after four days of antibiotics and the removal of a large amount of fluid from the area surrounding his right lung, he is finally beginning to feel better. His doctors have said that he will be hospitalized for several more days.

Just so the latecomers will know, that picture was taken at the park and football field in Crawford, not far from the Western White House.

As you can see, Eaker and Humble are right where they belong, up against the fence.

They've sent his information to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta for analysis.

Humble is one a kind, not surprising it would take one of a kind germs to lay him low.

Maybe he'll make the medical textbooks.

I'll bet that notion would hack him off...It'd be good for him.

Out of pocket today, but prayers that God will bless Gunner with a good day. May He strengthen, comfort, and bless him with improvement, so that he can move into his own room. May He bless him with exactly the care and treatment he needs to recover good health.

Someone bring Gunner earplugs and one of those dark eye covers women use for their “beauty sleep”. I wore earplugs during my hospital stays last May - what a blessing! The nurses couldn’t figure out why I slept through the checkups until they saw the earplugs. Gunner needs these so he can get some decent sleep! There is NO REST to be had in hospitals, otherwise.

I once saw gunner fight a rattle snake. He gave the snake a two bite head start and still won!

I actually did see him shoot a huge rattle snake at Deer Camp West with my shotgun. The snake did not fair well.
