Someone bring Gunner earplugs and one of those dark eye covers women use for their “beauty sleep”. I wore earplugs during my hospital stays last May - what a blessing! The nurses couldn’t figure out why I slept through the checkups until they saw the earplugs. Gunner needs these so he can get some decent sleep! There is NO REST to be had in hospitals, otherwise.
Had a few hospital stays myself in the last few years and can't count the number of times I have seen staff wake up patients to give them their sleeping pills.
Then they would stare at the ceiling for half hour or so...doze off for a few minutes then get woke up again for blood pressure or blood letting.
