This is quite a story!

God bless all the people who risked their lives to save this soldier! From the medics, to the helicopter crews who willingly took “unexploded ordinance” on their flight. Talk about bravery!

I followed the link and read the whole story.

If I didn't know better, I would think it started "raining" in here about half-way through.

Does anyone remember the ARVN soldier with the mortar round stuck in him that was removed by American doctors in a field hospital? The solider was surrounded with four walls of sandbags. Then, reaching through ports left in the sand bags the doctors removed the mortar round.
Bravery runs in the veins of America’s fighting forces from generation to generation. The same can’t be said for our politicians.

I saw this segment on TV. The whole thing was surreal. I just cannot imagine such a thing actually happening.

May God bless those who risked their lives to save this man!

Several soldiers involved with saving Moss have since been honored or promoted. Here are their current ranks and awards they have received. Maj. John Oh, general surgeon -- The Soldier's Medal Maj. Kevin Kirk, orthopedic surgeon -- Army Commendation Medal with Valor SSG Eric Wynn and Pfc. Channing Moss -- Purple Heart CW3 Jorge Correa, MEDEVAC pilot, and Sgt. John Collier, flight medic -- Air Medal with Valor CW2 Jeremy Smith, co-pilot, and SSG Christian Roberts, crew chief -- Air Medal Sgt Jared Angell, field medic, and SFC Dan Brown, explosives expert -- Bronze Star with Valor

,,guess John F kurry's medic who supplied the band air for the scratch on his arm for which and had to fill out a medical report and forward through channels (at kurry's request) must be wondering if he save a possible future US President

Every time I read about incidents such as this one I am overwhelmed by the bravery and strong ties these wonderful people have towards one and other.

How is it possible these heroes are from the same country as the ones who undermine their every effort to keep us safe?
