I met Reade last October when I did some volunteer work at a church soup ktchen. It seems that he was a regular there to help out...one of the nicest young men I have ever met. At the time I told him about the support he and his mates had on FreeRepublic.

I can see where this one is going. The lab is going to be blamed. All his privious lab work was with the another lab.
Anyone hear that pop. Sounds like someone was opening up a soda bottle. That or Lawrence Welk just came back to life.

Nifong should be nervous because in any just world he’d be working at McDonald’s not on the bench. However, lord knows if this bar court is a kangaroo court or not.

Are you suggesting that Nifong would intentionally lie about someone else??

I was impressed how Seligman came out in the beginning with a public declaration of his innocence - something I wished Libby had done...will do?

There's lying and then there's not telling the "whole Truth". Oaths were written SPECIFICALLY to include the whole truth. Unfortunately, our system of examining and cross examining rarely achieves "the whole truth". And then there's the wonderful "spouse exception" and of course "the 5th" which says "you don't have to tell us ANYTHING bad about you". So, where is "Truth". And if there is no "Truth", can there be Justice??
Nifong has been a war monger from the beginning because he was a coward...afraid of a riot which might have got out the truth much sooner and ruin his chance of election. His election base is made up of ????? 90% white?? Yeh, right!!

Amazing he first saw something about this case, on the copy machine.
I am sure he looked at it and in the back of his little mind he said, just in time for the election.

I expect him to be disbarred. He has embarrassed the state of NC. He will pay for that by being made an example. I think the decision will be swift. He deserves jail but that’s more of a longshot.
Mangum will have no action taken against her by the state or the families. But Fong will suffer. Just not enough.

Any legal eagles out there know if Reid attorney gets to ask questions of Nifong??? Most likely not. I do not know the procedures of the NC Bar Disciplinary Board but typically only the Disciplinary Counsel and Nifong's attorney will be able to question witnesses.
To: mware
If this works like any other court of law he should be questioned by both sides.
If he only get’s to present his “defense” it’s not much of a hearing/trial etc.
What I want to know if there is any course of action to charge him with perjury if it’s shown he lies (he’d never do that would he?) during this hearing.

Anyone know why the “plaintiff” hasn't been charged with a crime for filing knowingly false charges?
To: Brytani
Coming up to a good point here, probably: the questioner is bringing up Nifong’s pre-DNA-test comment “the DNA test will exclude non-suspects” or whatever. Listen for lots of tap-dancing...

I sure would like to know what 46 name was on that document. It might say quite a lot about the case.
