Anybody have any idea when a decision could be rendered? Has anyone heard a speculation by the media? Fox am said that they thought it would come down some time today. Based on the statements I am hearing from the panel it sounds to me like they've already decided. I wouldn't be suprised if they announce it immediately after Nifong's lawyers are done fumbling and mumbling around trying their pitiful best to defend the indefensible.

I’m hoping they get rid of this Freedman clown soon and then make a decision. I suppose they will go through the motions of going into chambers “to discuss the case and render our decision” for a couple of minutes.
It’s getting to be lunchtime there in NC I believe, that might be reason enough for the judge to ring the bell and put an end to this.

I guess that’s not Tom Wolfe in the white suit in back of the prosecutor’s desk. Yd when they were showing the prosecutor I only saw the white suit from that camera angle.

On FNC earlier today it was reported possibly a verdict today, but left open that it could come later.

The panel does seem to have their decision made already. However, they will probably not issue/publish their decision for a week or so, just to give the appearance that they took time to deliberate and review the testimonies.

I notice that both of Nifong's attorneys are being combative with the panel. That is stupid of them.

They can fast until they reach one. I guarantee the families missed a few meals and so did their defense lawyers. Families probably lost a few, as well.
To: TomGuy
Good. I hope they are real combative so Nifong can’t come back and sue them for lack of a vigorous defense and the panel becomes disenchanted with any possibilty of “sympathy” for the “poor wittle sot.”
ha ha ha ha...slimefong is STILL one thirsty bugger...glug glug glug gulp gulp gulp....PRICELESS!!!!!!!

Lunch break until 2 pm at the earliest. Said that the panel will deliberate during lunch. May indicate a decision yet today, maybe this afternoon.
To: TomGuy
“Deliberation”??? Okie, dokie. I’ll be home by then. I hope FOX covers any possible results.
Can someone please tell me what they mean by phase 1 and phase 2?
To: mykdsmom
Phase 1: Determining whether there were violations.
Phase 2: If so, determining the consequences of the violations.
To: mykdsmom
Phase 1: presentation of damning evidence.
Phase II: Disbarment of Slimefong

Thanks. It also sounds like they will hear testimony in the phase 2 portion. Basically like the sentencing phase of the trial where they hear testimony from witnesses how much this has affected their lives?
To: cookiedough
Well, I think Phase 1 is pretty well nailed down.
I’m hoping Phase 2 will place those nails where they should be — in Nifong’s coffin. (I don’t mean that literally).
To: mykdsmom
I hope so, and that’s what I gather from what the WRAL reporter said.
To: mykdsmom
Didn’t that happen with Dave? I thought that was what he testified to. Oh, no. Not more testimony. What else could they say — you only had to look at the faces of the mothers and fathers. If the panel can’t figure it out from there, then we are in the hands of fools.

I was gone for most of the morning and missed the mornings testimony. Can anyone bring me up todate on the happenings?

I wondered where you were. I’m glad you’re back. You’ll have to talk to the others, I have no speakers or video at the station I’m occupying today. Well, the panel will recess until 2 for lunch and deliberations. After that I’ll be dependent on FOX News for coverage.
