Not only that but he’s roundabout admitting she had NO credibility, had completely changed her statement, or made statements based on media reports yet he continued with this scam prosecution.

Yet, he still retains the sexual assault charges.

Nifong was about to answer what credible evidence was there of penetration of ANY object? Why drop rape charges and keep sexual assault charges?

They found semen from one the players - it just wasn’t on her, it was in a towel when they executed the search warrant. Feel sorry for that guy too- having that made public. Somewhat embarrassing.

This case has set back the case of women who are honesty raped 1,000 years.

I didn't get a chance to see if Nancy Grace had a comment on this.

Nancy Grace was on yesterday. She said things that made it evident that she too had believed that the rape took place. I never did hear anything like "I regret my comments for the past months" nor did anyone else ask her "Aren't you going to apologize?" like was asked of President Bush over and over for his non-lie.

Absolutely, he was going to knowing let a lying accuser on the stand to send white boys to jail.

He knew he had a good chance at convictions because of the income, talent, education, and race disparity of his bogus victim and the men he intended to frame.

Nifong said that she said she could not say that a penis was the object inserted (although she originally claimed rape). Therefore, without the penis insertion, the rape claim 'goes away'.

Nifong says some other object was inserted, but he can't recall what that object might have been.

But without that 'insertion', there is no sexual assault, so he has to keep the idea of an object being using.

That is why I dont understand the line of questioning. If semen was not in her from these guys but there was semen from so many other men how can they take her accusations seriously.

Nice to see that the coach landed on his feet in another LAX job.

However he left a big-time college with a program near the top (Duke was the runner-up in this year's NCAA Division 1 championship even after all this and probably a hit on recruiting) for a college that is an unknown in the lacrosse world. I hope he got a huge settlement and have been glad to see him on interviews when he says that he did not leave Duke voluntarily.

Someone should have clued Nifong that you can con a jury, but its harder (and much more dangerous) to try to con a Judge, unless you’re a lot better at it than Nifong apparently is.
