Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) "hates" George Bush (Vanity)
Yet another DUmmie actor speaks out. Yesterday's "Inside the Actor's Studio" featured Kyra Sedgwick, who, when asked "what sound do you hate the most?" responded "George Bush's voice." (Paraphrased from memory)
My wife is a big fan of "The Closer." I can tolerate it because it's important to Mrs. MarineBrat. I mentioned to Mrs. MarineBrat just how ignorant it is for an "actor" to inject political beliefs into a discussion about acting. When it becomes more important to get a dig in than it is to avoid insulting half of the audience... brilliant! Brilliant!!! Oh, wait, she's not really smart like the character that she plays... she just acts that way. I hope it comes back to haunt her bad! (Which is why I posted this vanity anyway) :)
Thanks for posting. She has fallen prey to the old adage:
“It is better to have people to think you are a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Kyra who?
Here’s $.50. Go call someone who gives a rip what Kyra Sedgwick thinks.
I’m not surprised. Let’s play 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. Kyra is married to him. Kevin is buddy-buddy with Sean Penn and Tim Robbins. They are all Liberal freak shows. Well, that’s only 4, but hey...
I have to laugh, though. The only reason I haven’t watched that show is because her voice has always annoyed me. What a coinky-dink.
Probably better known for being married to Kevin Bacon.
Other than that, I can’t tell you what movies she’s done.
Ah, more vitriolic hatred and intolerance from the Left. How quaint.
I used to enjoy the Closer but it’s now off my watch list. Piss on her.
I have to say President Bush’s voice irritates me also. I am so disappointed in some of the things he has done-so what.
...had to look her up myself.
The sound I hate the most is when so called actors and actresses open their mouths about things the know nothing about. That’s the worst sound in the world.
I wonder if we here at Free Republic owe an apology to all the Hollywood types we have abused over the years for their dislike of George Bush. Since President Bush has fallen out of favor around here, it appears we were just slow to catch on to what they have known all along.
She was married to Kevin Bacon. I don’t think anyone’s mistaken her as the brightest bulb on the marquee.
What is she saying that most Freepers here nowadays aren’t saying as well?
I haven’t liked her acting, ever, and godamighty she’s homely. She’s like a female version of Skeletor. Though she’s all over it, “Singles” is a pretty good movie, if only for the X-Man scene, however.
However, if you eliminate TV shows based upon stars that don’t like Bush, you’ll be stuck with...okay, I can’t think of anything that will be left. You’ll probably read a lot more, let’s put it that way.
To me she looks like the one night stand you really see for the first time in the morning.
This has become commonplace on the Actor’s Studio. Why must this be covered during these interviews?
Half the audience?
I'd guess the percentage is significantly lower than half...........
Kevin Bacon could have done a lot better.
The whole premise of the show made me not even tune in. What do you expect from Turner channels anyway?
They promo’d a new show during the NASCAR race on Sunday - Holly Hunter in “Saving Grace”. Ooooooh - ANOTHER female cop show (nothing against Holly), but the theme song they were playing was “Not Ready To Make Nice” by the Dixie Chicks. Way to alienate potential viewers there, guys, but also to air the ad during a substandard NASCAR broadcast (FOX’s graphics and camera changes were WAY better than the rain-shortened race on Sunday).
And don’t get me started on the weekly Julia Roberts movies, shown ad nauseum.
