Is laughter part of the evolution theory process?
If not I have just advanced the species.
No actually what bothers you is that I am not agreeing with you.
Did not this start with me stating that you are a condescending little twerp?
You sir have not disappointed me.

If you don't understand how evolution occurred, you're not very well educated. There are a lot of people who aren't very well educated

Educated, indoctrinated, either way you have been exposed to too much.

If you don't understand how evolution occurred, you're not very well educated.

Is the rarefied air you are breathing sucking the O2 from your brain causing you to be a raging condescending asshat?

Of course many highly educated people understand how evolution works, they just don't buy it as dogma

BTW, who is more educated, you or the Pope?

Haven’t seen a FR poll on it, just personal observation. It could be that Macroevolutionist freepers are more into posting comments on crevolist threads, but in volume of posts and number of individual usernames, they at least give the appearance of having larger numbers than their Creationist counterparts.

Alright, I give up. I admit it. I probably do need to get out more b/c just what the heck is “macroevolution”?

"The party will either go into the 21st century and win elections, or it will refuse to modernize and continue to lose. I hope party leaders have the foresight to realize that opposing modernity is a losing strategy."

Well the last time I looked, we were already in the 21st century.

The other last time that I looked the same sort of nonsense was spewed out by dictators such as Hitler, Stalin, and Mao as well as others.

Please do not feel offended if I say here that because you subscribe to a particular theology, you should not expect others to adhere to similar beliefs just because all of the other kids are doing it.

Evolution is fascinating stuff, and I have read lots on the matter.

I also read a lot of Spiderman & Superman comic books when I was a child. That don't make them real.

There are a lot of problems with TOE, but you likely won't hear them being mentioned by members of the cabal that you either are a part of, or aspire to be.

Meanwhile, back at your initial rant, clearly the "Darwinists" side of the Republican Party are prepared to do a whole lot of losing if they are insisting on continuing with disrespecting the true 'base' of the Republican Party, and that is a lot more losing than I am willing to put up with.

I don’t believe in polls either, especially the pollaganda kind designed to shape an agenda.

Does that make me ‘anti-science’? :-)

There is absolutely no doubt about it here. It’s very sad that so many do believe in evolution. God is in His heaven and just waiting for His children to believe and repent. Trust in Him. He’s the only One who makes sense.

Amen.

Either God is impossible or Evolution is.

The GOP may be the 'stupid Party' but at least it is not the Party of stupid people, like the Democrats.

I think most of the creationist freepers are tired of the fight, and the name-calling that happens when they show up on the evolution threads. That’s just my observation. I know that I avoid these threads most of the time, I don’t know why I wandered into this one except that it wasn’t a scientific thread, it was a political point so I took a shot.

there is no evidence that one species becomes another.

Unless you're willfully blind, there's plenty. Heck, it's been observed in real time. But you can shut your eyes and ears and pretend it doesn't exist if that's what makes you happy.

It would be interesting to correlate the acceptance of evolution with supporters of comprehensive immigration reform among active Freepers. It seems as if many ex-Freepers who are genuine scientists and those who support immigration reform have both been driven from FR.

I suppose it's another demonstration that all civilizations eventually fall to the hands of unthinking superstitious mobs. America truly is in decline.

Given the choice between believing a theory that I evolved from a lower life form over millions of years or I was created in the likeness of a loving all powerful creator.

It's not a choice you have to make. The two are not mutually exclusive.

And many of the FReepers who supported evolution, were banned...and many Freepers who supported evolution, just left...they are many reasons why either creationists or those supporting evolution are no longer posting...there is not one easy answer concernng this...

Another poll designed to paint Reps as a bunch of extremists and nuts. I agree with you that it is not helpful to us.

Do we as Christians interpret theses passages as the literal truth or only one mans ability to attempt to describe what God had revealed to him:

The precise reason the 15th and 16th century RCC was so against having Bibles published in the vernacular.

There are only two possibilities: you're either not familiar with the evidence, which is overwhelming and conclusive, or you willfully choose to ignore that evidence. The former explanation is more charitable than the latter, which implies dishonesty on your part.

Dishonesty? Not necessarily. There's another possibility you failed to consider.

Personally, I couldn't care less how much "overwhelming and conclusive evidence" you think you have to support macroevolution. It just tells me your evidence is somehow flawed. The simple fact that it cannot be reconciled with what the Bible clearly says is enough for me to say macroevolution is false.

That's not dishonesty. If you think otherwise, so be it.

To: radioman; All

Read my post 51. (And this not directed all to you, but to everybody here)

I as a Christian do not understand where the problem lies between Evolution and Genesis, the only way I can see it would be a problem is if 1 your an Atheist and believe it is all up to chance to which I would reply the great complexity of life seems to refute and 2 your a Biblical literalist to which I would reply the Bible itself argues against literal interpretation and you have missed the point.

I add this, (Please don’t get offended) Catholics believe in the transmutation of the sacrament into the actual blood and body of Jesus Christ whereas most Protestants believe that the taking of Communion is an outward sign of an inward belief.

If you believe that Communion is not actual transmutation as the Catholics believe then how can you possibly say that you know for a fact that Genesis is the LITERAL word of God and not mans attempt to understand Gods Revelation to him.
