We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
Well said. Let’s get back to doing what needs to be done.

QUOTES of Duncan Hunter (Who should be our next President.)
“The North American Union should be when Canada and Mexico stand with us in Iraq. They didn’t. I don’t support anything that takes away from the sovereignty of the United States.” (When asked about the North American Union.) (The article probably misquoted him, as it said California instead of Canada.)
“Liberals are already declaring defeat (in Iraq) but they didn’t inform the US Marines. It is in our best interest to expand freedom. Free nations are our allies and friends.” (Source.)
“The right to keep and bear arms is an absolute right of Americans to protect their families and their communities and their nation with firearms. In this age of post-911, Americans, I believe are comforted by the fact that our ability to resist terrorism is not limited to law enforcement or defense agencies but is also within the ability of all gun-owning Americans.” (On the 2nd Amendment.)
“Gun control laws directed at law-abiding citizens are not a crime deterrent. In fact, studies show that private ownership of firearms by Americans reduces crime. You and I both know that the one thing criminals prefer more than any other is unarmed victims.” (On gun control.)
“We’re down to one-sies and two-sies on critical aspects of the defense industrial base. This is a security problem! I have two reasons for wanting to maintain a strong industrial base in this country. Number one, good high-paying jobs for our people and good profits for our businesses so they can continue to make capital investment and, secondly, national security. It could get to the point where it is primarily a national security problem.” (On China.)
“Our troops deserve nothing less than the best possible protection. They need to know that not only is the best equipment being provided to them, but that it is being done in a timely manner.”
“Fences work and the walls work and separations work. They afford to any nation the delay of entry.”
“I think in the U.S., the border fence is no longer an immigration issue primarily; it’s a security issue.”
“Nothing matures a military force quicker than actual military operations.” (On rotating Iraqi troops into combat zones where Americans are fighting.)
“Our nation must manage significant national security challenges over the next several years. We are already facing a potential conflict with Iraq, new challenges on the Korean peninsula, and key decisions in the president’s plans to transform the military.”
“This century is going to be a very dangerous century.”
“Prior to September 11, 2001, illegal immigration was considered a regional issue without national implications. We quickly learned on that day, however, that this is a national issue, affecting each and every American, not just those living in border communities like San Diego County.”
“Illegal aliens continue to funnel directly into many of our local communities and adversely impact our way of life by overwhelming our schools, inundating our health care system and, most concerning, threatening our safety.”
“We’ve got 135,000 kids over there that need leadership, and their leadership can’t be dragged back to Washington every couple of days to focus on seven people. And that’s what’s happened.”(On the Hamdaniya Marines.)
“We seem to be our own worst enemies. We should require critical U.S. infrastructure to remain in U.S. hands.” (On critical national defense industries moving overseas.)
“Dubai has a reputation of being the place where you go in ... if you want to ship something with anonymity.” (On the Dubai Ports Deal.)
“When they are sufficiently trained, we leave.” (On the Iraqi military.)
“Stem cell research has yielded little success and continues to demonstrate inherent biological problems that make treatment for human disease unlikely.” (On his opposition to embryonic stem cell research.)
“There are always going to be insurgents in Iraq ... and there’s always going to be bombs going off. That’s the nature of that neighborhood. The key is: Can this military defend its civil government and be accountable and responsible to it? I think they’re going to hold.” (On the violent nature of Iraq and the Middle East.)
“These are the people who tried to kill us. It includes the guy — the 20th hijacker, that was Mr. Qahtani who was caught coming in — who didn’t make it to the planes that drove into New York. Here you have a guy who was on his way to kill 5,000 Americans, and we have people complaining because he had a dog bark at him in Guantanamo.” (On the inmates of Guantanamo.)
“I think that’s accepting a falsehood and giving to the American people that somehow we don’t treat prisoners right.” (On claims of mistreatment of Guantanamo inmates.)
“It takes more than walking across the border to be an American.” (On illegal immigrants.)
“I drafted that bill. It says ‘shall.’ That’s the same language we put in the border fence in San Diego. Doggone it, this is the law. Follow the law.” (On the Bush Administration’s decision to shorten the length of the planned border fence.)
“Romney is absolutely wrong in recommending a secret timetable. Secret timetables are bad because in the end they all become public and the enemy uses them to estimate the limit on Americas endurance. The key to a successful American exit from Iraq is the stand-up and deployment of the Iraqi military.” (On Mitt Romney’s acceptance of private timetables for U.S. withdrawal from Iraq.)
“I don’t think I have to criticize either Hillary or Obama. I think that they are doing a great job together of carrying out that task themselves.” (Source.)
The next five quotes are from Newsweek.
“I believe national security and a strong military are more important issues now than they have ever been. With China an emerging superpower and the North Koreans and Iranians acquiring more advanced weapons systems, we are living in an increasingly dangerous world.”
“The legacy of this Republican Congress is that we have rebuilt our national defense, with an additional $100 billion annually. [President] Clinton slashed our national defense. We have never been more capable. We have twice the firepower we had under Clinton.”
“I don’t look at the border as an immigration issue, I look at it as a national security issue.”
“The American people know we changed the world for the better with the fall of the Berlin Wall. This time, the tyranny is not from the teachings of Karl Marx but from the rhetoric of Islamic extremists. The stakes are even higher. Its a difficult challenge, but one we must meet.”
“The Democrats bumper-sticker plan is simply to deploy to the rear and retreat. To attack what is happening in Iraq is easy, to defend it takes more time.”
“I think the most important institution in society is marriage, and it deserves to be protected.” (From a meeting with Duncan Hunter that I witnessed.)
“Today, China is using its $80 billion trade surplus with the United States to build a formidable military. Tragically, the weapons China procures are targeted toward the very Americans who supplied them through their trade dollars. “ (Source.)
“As Congress debated China’s trade status, advocates argued that America was dealing with a new China, a friendlier China, a country that would become an economic partner with the United States. So, despite evidence that China continues to engage in unfair trade practices, violate human rights, and pose a threat to our national security, Congress supported President Bush’s decision to provide China with “normal trade relations” status, the same trade status given to our friends across the world including Great Britain, France, Germany and Japan. This was a mistake. China’s initial refusal to release our military personnel and plane earlier this year is indicative of the regard in which the Communist regime holds our government and serves as a strong reminder that China does not consider America an economic partner, but an enemy. (Source.)
“The hard-liners of the Communist regime continue to view America with cynicism. They see the United States as a country anxious to make a profit at any cost, even if it means allowing them to pose a major threat to our national security. The fact is, while we trade with China, they prepare for war. “ (Source.)
“China is clearly one of the biggest threats to our nation in the 21st century and has not earned the right to have normal trade relations status. China’s past actions reveal its intent. America’s leaders cannot send mixed signals and our nation’s economic and military interests must be consistent, not in conflict. This is why I believe normalizing trade relations with China was the wrong decision.” (Source.)
“The American people must realize that a Gore administration would be populated by many of those responsible for the failures of the Clinton administration. Rearranging the deck chairs will not save the ship of U.S. security. The new team must be competent, professional and pro-defense. That means it can’t be Al Gore’s team.” (Source.)
“I believe in power projection. I believe in the politics of engagement.” (Source.)
“Very clearly, the people that told us that NAFTA was going to be the greatest thing in show business have been proven wrong. When we passed NAFTA, they said that were going to build on this $3 billion trade surplus that we had with Mexico in 1994. It went immediately to a $15 billion trade loss. With respect to China, weve given Most Favored Nation trading status to China and wed have this deal with them that theyre cheating on right now. They now have us at a $2-$300 billion trade loss annually with China and theyre using American billions to buy ships and planes and missiles. They just bought these Sovremenny-class missile destroyers from the Russians, which were designed to kill American aircraft carriers. So we need to do what Ronald Reagan did when he saw bad arms-control deals. Thats to junk those deals, bring the competitors back to the table for another deal, put together a group of good, hard-headed, sharp businessmen, lets put together a deal that benefits American workers and American businesses. Thats called smart trade.” (Captain’s Quarters Interview.)
“In my opinion Sen. Reid, having made that statement, which can only have a demoralizing effect on our troops and an effect of encouragement of the adversary, I think it would be appropriate for Sen. Reid to resign his position as the leader of the United States Senate.” (Hunter on Harry “The war is lost” Reid.)
“It must come as a shock to Al Qaeda leaders to have an aide come into their safe house and tell them that Senator Reid has declared that, in fact, they are winning and the war is lost. I think it’s highly irresponsible for the leader of the U.S. Senate to have said that and, just speaking for myself as the ranking Republican on the Armed Services Committee, I think that the leader of the Senate should step down from that position.” (Same as above.)
Well, if you decide you want to use a lot of electricity, you send me a check for twice as much money as you spend on electricity. I will then send you a certificate assuring you that I will consider investing your money in companies that are developing “alternative” fuel sources.
The theory is that if you and enough others do this, I will become very wealthy and you will be able to sleep better at night knowing that you’ve done your part to save the planet.
