Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

We had had a civil war and it’s aftermath which today includes the culture of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton because of black exclusion.

You need to come forward 50 years. Racism still lives because race-baiters like Jackson and Sharpton have a vested interest in keeping racism alive.

It's the source of their power.

Frankly man, I thought you would take that figuratively....like it was meant.....enough bashing each other....apparently I was wrong......notice no one is killing each other except for you and I.......it's enough man....DU eats there own....we don't......and I apologize....

LOL, I take everything *literally* unless I see a /sarc liner at the end of the post.

SF, I have no real quarrel with you, your getting involved in that little food fight between me and another poster surprised me, I have to say I didn't 'get' why you would want to poke your head into a bunch of flying creme pies, lol.

Hey, we're good SF, no worries.

Now if I could get that other poster to maybe upgrade me from a 'little vulgar worm' to maybe something like 'medium-sized, slightly smelly centipede', we might be on the road to mutual understanding and a round of 'kumbaya', what do you think SF? ;)

Those arguments usually come from America hating leftists who are trying to deprive us of our religious freedoms (among other rights). Do you have a problem with our God-given and first amendment protected right to religious freedom?

The NH primary is scheduled for January 22. Nevada tried to put theirs ahead of NH; in response NH is expected to move to January 8.

It used to be that we had four full years in which to forget all about Dixville Notch, but they keep squeezing it.

Well, that's what Rudy and the other secularists endorse.

Slavery was the one great stain on the founding generation, one which cost later generations rivers of blood and mountains of treasure to rectify.

But why was it a stain? Because, it violated the very principles they fought for.

However, their failure to carry their principles through to full fruition doesn’t change the righteousness of the principle.

And finally, why do you think you’re better than the founders? You just posted an absurdity that negated the principle that you are criticizing them for neglecting.

But apparently MadIvan can change how the title appears in the listing, which is good!

Hi Miss Marple! I'm so proud--I just got the formal boot from the trailer park site!

That's not even remotely accurate. Social liberals? Some, but not all. There's a wide cross-section of people there.

I agree--I heard about it and saw the names, but I've only been there a couple of times.

Then again, I haven't been here very much. The vitriol here has been so bad. Are there the Sunday a.m. talk show threads still? Any live threads? I'd be surprised.

It’s a great place!

All its denizens are united by their love of Rudy. They have passion for a man, not for this country.

EV. I think he made a great point. There IS a balance.
individual freedom and limited government, which are the conservative beliefs that I hold dear.

You’re deluded to come to that conclusion.

It was a fraudulent statement at the time and we’re still paying the price for the founder’s failure to include the black man as “all men”.

We paid in blood in the worst war the world had seen at the time.

And we also came around to include women.

Unfortunately, we are now at a stage in the republic ("If you can keep it") that not all men or women are created equal yet again. Hate crimes laws make some animals more equal than others.

You’re deluded to come to that conclusion.

Hardly. You're arguing against the foremost founding principle of America - the very bedrock principle upon which this free republic's foundations are set.

Remove that stone, and all then teeters on the changable whims of fickle men.

You're advocating for national suicide.

I wonder what they’re going to do when Rudy doesn’t get the nominaton and their site folds the way the other anti-Freeper sites have. Although, if they quit caring what someone’s party affiliation is, they would fit in rather well over at DU.

You really should be more clear in your accusations. It was you, mkjessup, who posted each and every one of the following comments:

1. ADIOS TWIT!
2. Go screw yourself, you little twit
3. don’t let the cat cover you up when you head back to your sandbox
4. you can follow Miss Katie right on out the door bucko

1. - 'adios twit' is quite mild I think.

2. - 'go screw yourself, you little twit' is nothing but an upgrade to #1. (screwdriver not included)

3. - 'don't let the cat cover you up', hey that's just old school smackdown, FR has cats (Viking Kitties), how could you be offended by that?

4. - 'you can follow Miss Katie right on out the door', was directed at another lost soul desperately looking for the Bug Zapper, I trust they finally saw the light.

Does posting such drivel make you feel more like a Conservative Man?

If it was nothing but drivel, probably not. But I've got you foaming at the mouth, so those posts must be good for something Nauti.

Not to worry. Your 'Minister of Conservative Purity' understands you, and forgives you.

Arise, and go in peace.
