Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

>> They had hope at the start of the thread when we had some talk about monkeys and I think that is the only reason they hung with us this long.

What? No more monkey talk? Let us then sing of the ape, to attract them back:

A LADY fair, of lineage high,
Was loved by an Ape, in the days gone by -
The Maid was radiant as the sun,
The Ape was a most unsightly one -
So it would not do -
His scheme fell through;
For the Maid, when his love took formal shape,
Expressed such terror
At his monstrous error,
That he stammered an apology and made his 'scape,
The picture of a disconcerted Ape.

With a view to rise in the social scale,
He shaved his bristles, and he docked his tail,
He grew moustachios, and he took his tub,
And he paid a guinea to a toilet club.
But it would not do,
The scheme fell through -
For the Maid was Beauty's fairest Queen,
With golden tresses,
Like a real princess's,
While the Ape, despite his razor keen,
Was the apiest Ape that ever was seen!

He bought white ties, and he bought dress suits,
He crammed his feet into bright tight boots,
And to start his life on a brand-new plan,
He christened himself Darwinian Man!
But it would not do,
The scheme fell through -
For the Maiden fair, whom the monkey craved,
Was a radiant Being,
With a brain far-seeing -
While a Man, however well-behaved,
At best is only a monkey shaved!

Bully tactics. Do something nasty and then when you’re called on it, say, *It was just a joke*. *You guys are no fun.* *You don’t have a sense of humor.*

That turns it around and gets the attention off the bully and his bad behavior, and onto the other parties who didn’t do anything wrong, but now look like the bad guys because they didn’t get it.

ha, ha. very funny.

Maybe, but I think that they’re either trying to take someone else down with them by provoking them then hitting the abuse button, or they really think they’re making other mad at them.

Either way, sometimes it’s fun to accommodate them. A flat out over the top post and zot isn’t as much fun.

What are you talking about?

I've read sodpoodle enough to know he stands behind Jim...so unless he was inexplicable possessed, he was just kidding.

Wasn't he? ;^)

Afterall, Jim responded with a wink. Geesh! What's up?

I think Hillary is an over rated threat.

My daughter, who attends a big name university which is typically liberal, said that all but the most ardent liberals dislike (hate) Hillary and they said that they wouldn’t vote for her. It appears that she does not have the college vote.

The liberal kids in my son’s high school feel that the US is not ready for a woman president.

Now I realize that the voter turnout in either of these two age groups is not earth shattering, but I find if interesting that what is generally considered the most liberal age group is not behind her.

Hi DCP

All things in the universe are understood as received through the various filters of human understanding and thus are perceptions of reality. What we commonly refer to as reality is, in fact, merely an agreed upon perception.

They’re not all as super scientific as they like to pass themselves off as. Yes, some are genuine scientists and have degrees, but many are not. When asked about their scientific credentials, they either (eventually) admit they have none, or completely refuse to answer or even acknowledge the question. (which is a good indicator of *No*)

They just like to think they’re better than everybody else.

Some will tell you (or browbeat you) into thinking we can only win with a lib rino.

But that's not "winning!" That's losing, big-time.

“Banning “good” people like X,Y,and Z...”

Statements like these make me wonder if people are actually reading the thread or just listening to these anti FR sites spewing lies. The former FR people are going out with abusive comments to the owner of the site in most cases. Some are just leaving because their idiot comrads were seen to be zotted. No matter that they went on their own accord or begged to go or just left.
