Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

Nobody is criticizing you for supporting this site. You have used the fact that you are generous to FR to bat people over the head. Twice in this thread alone. You accuse others of not being entitled to opinions because you assume they don’t donate as much as you. Sometimes your assumptions can be wrong, but nevertheless it shouldn’t matter. peace.

Give us a break, will ya? No one reads your mail. When someone is being stalked by freepmail, or abused or harassed, etc, they sometimes cut and paste a copy of the abusive message and report it to me or to the mods by abuse report or freepmail. Depending on the severity of the abuse and or if the abuser has a history of being abusive, he may receive a warning, a suspension or a zotting. It happens.

I like Duncan Hunter. And Fred Thompson.

That said, I'm staying out of it completely until primary season gets going. It's too early for all this hair pulling and jumping about.

You see? Before "The Purge" there would have been an onslaught of posts like,

"Duncan who?"

"Dunkin Donuts"

"He can't win! Only Rudy can beat Hillary!"

"A vote for Hunter is a vote for Hillary!"

It was as if there was mob in the alley waiting to jump you as soon as you said anything un-Rudy.

At least that has stopped.

Google Darwin Central and when you get to the site, go to the *Welcome to Darwin Central* forum.

I'd never heard of the place before and went over there after I saw your post. I spent way too much of my time reading their thread about this thread.

~waves hi to the DC nerds~

I have to admit I thought it was a bit entertaining listening to a bunch of super scientific type guys attempt to analyze us. I also got a little warm, fuzzy feeling watching some of our dear departed stumble dazed and shell shocked into the thread where the DCers welcomed them and promised to be gentle with them.

A few of the former FReepers there do seem to exhibit some separation anxiety from FR. I think some of them got excited while they were watching the circus and they decided to come join the circus, but I think, for the most part, they are just content to watch it from their free seats in the nosebleed section. IMO, I don't think they are a major troll threat.

Sorry, don-o, but I think they are about bored with us because none of us are talking about evolution. They had hope at the start of the thread when we had some talk about monkeys and I think that is the only reason they hung with us this long.

No I’m with you on it. I’m not gonna vote for him. Period. I guess I didn’t state what I was trying to say clear enough...and that’s my fault.

Personally I think it’s too early to start deciding who will represent the Republicans in the next election. The media and the Democrat Party are pushing this continuous election cycle BS on us and it’s not right. And that was the basic point of what I was trying to say...we need to slow down and not get caught up in the DBM driven ant race.

But if we are going to start looking at who will best represent conservative vaules and uphold the tradition of Ronaldus Magnus...it’s NOT going to be anyone named McCain or Guiliani.

You got that right!

McCain is nearly as radioactive as Giuliani because of CFR (not to mention his willingness to cozy up to 'Rats, calling John F'in Kerry his "dear friend"), and the only thing Giuliani accomplishes is the possible permanent destruction of the GOP, a fractured vote, and a 'Rat in the White House. He is simply too divisive if for no other reason, to be the nominee.

Ruh roh II - Looks like I will be offline for a while, I see utility trucks in the area (had a power flux late last night) and the lights are flickering almost like RudyBots flying into the big FR Bug Zapper.

Back later, everyone have a great day!
