Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

I just heard that Napkin User got banned. Anyone know why? He was the keeper of the StopRudy ping list.

“Come on...that had to be a joke, right?”

It would seem to be a rather strange sense of humor.

I read another gem tonight... thought I would share...

1 John 2:19 "They went out from us but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have remained with us: but that they may be manifest, that they are not all of us.

Fake conservatives be gone... if you are of us, you would of remained with us..

Maybe. I’m just saying if you want to get banned why expand all that energy baiting. Just go with your over the top post first instead of building up to it for 2 hours or ask to be banned.:’)

I understand, CindyDawg, and that is your right. I do hope that IF push comes to shove you could dig down deep and find it in your heart to do what needs to be done to prevent the Dems from gaining power. They have power now and look what’s happening. Our troops, our children and grandchildren, our very survival as a country are depending on us not throwing our vote away when the times get tough.

People are trying to redefine Conservatism and trying to say that Rudy is a Conservative just To fit the Republican Party to Rudy!

This is about taking back Conservatism! Rudy should run as an Independent and stop trying to high-jack the Republican party.

And make no mistake about it this thread it is about Rudy, not about purging his supporters.
I quit arguing on the Rudy threads because it became pointless like slamming your head against a wall.

There were personal attacks on my admittedly poor grammar and spelling and in general.

Nasty LIBERAL behavior!

I see names on the list of people that were not nasty to me but at some point they crossed the line and I respect the guy who runs the place and his right to ban for whatever reason he chooses.

Heck, if he suddenly felt that I prophlesize too much here and Jim Robinson warned me not to I wouldn't tell him to STFU not expecting to get banned!

Stop saying that Rudy is a Conservative.
I believe this is the biggest offense.
Then stop trying to cram him down our throat as "the only one who can win!"
Its to early for this!

>>>>I had to think about your asking about a question mark. I think you’re referring to my tagline.

Wake up! Of course I was referring to your tagline. Silly girl. The structure and breakdown of your tagline is misleading with two diametrically opposed statements.

>>>>>Do not try to imply that because I would vote for Giuliani as a LAST RESORT means that I am in anyway a liberal.

You're going out of your way to tell all of FReeperdom, Rudy is an acceptable candidate. Last resorts come at the very end. Not with 18 months to go. LOL You've already made a decision that if Rudy becomes the nominee, you'll vote for him in the general. That is not a conservative decision and is not in keeping with the goals of this forum.

Btw, I couldn't sleep at night knowing I voted for any liberal candidate.

Funny you should mention it. I've been in my laboratory today working on toilet paper footprints. I dub the basic unit of one sheet of toilet tissue a "sherylcrow." Please copy to all scientific books and manuals.

Now, we need to know how many sherylcrows are in an issue of the New York Times. I cannot solve this at the moment because I don't have a copy of the Times and won't let one into the house. But I think the number will be pretty big. This means that the New York Times is destroying the earth. It is killing all those trees. It is ushering in global warming, and doing it a lot faster than the ladies can counteract by wiping with no more than two or three sherylcrows. Obviously, we have to persuade the ladies to rip up the New York Times and use that for tissues. This will save a LOT of sherylcrows. Heck, we might be able to save ol' earth just by not buying the New York Times!

I still have a good deal of research to do, but this is one scientific theory you can put in the bank.
