Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

jedward, no. Don’t even go there. I know you’re new here so you don’t know the kind gentle lady fatima is. She’s hurting because of this thread and watching what’s gone on...she’s a GOOD and DECENT lady.

She will NOT head over to another site. This is a completely different situation here...

Very interesting. Thank you. So the Republican front runner holds most of the time but its only 50/50 on the Dem side.

Seeing King Prout’s name on that list is so ironic as he was the keeper of the RKBA (Road-Killed Beeber Association) ping list. They are — or were — “troll hunters” and occasionally hijacked boring or dead threads. Haven’t seen their activities for quite awhile and missed what led to his suspension, or whatever has happened.

Exactly. Fatima sees all the pain. And the hurts from when people leave that way. And how it hurts.

But Sweetie, we need you here, Fatima. Don’t you even think of going away!

It is fear, nay, terror that has gripped the hearts of many Rudi Krishnas. Huddling in their little cult thinking that Only St Rudy or York can save them from the evil one.
***I think it is fear coupled with Kool Aid drinking. Because many of us feel the same fear about WOT, and so when I drill down on issues related to security and WOT such as the security of our borders, military experience, support of militia, steadfastness, etc., I don’t hear fear any more. I get insults and obfuscations, which leads me to believe that the real thing that’s going on here is that they AGREE with Rudy. The WOT thing & fear of Hildebeast is just where they choose to hang their intellectual hats. But just because you take off your hat doesn’t mean it really is raining outside.

Giuliani talks tough on terror, Dems fire back

~snip~

It will be interesting to see if any Republicans challenge Giuliani directly about his stance on terrorism and his actions before and after 9/11. It would be a risky strategy for a Republican because they would risk alienating the very voters they need in the upcoming presidential primaries. But if the GOP contenders don’t start hitting Giuliani soon they’ll be in serious trouble.

And attacking a candidate’s perceived strength is straight from the GOP playbook. Supporters of President Bush adroitly turned John Kerry’s Vietnam service into a liability when the “Swift Boat Veterans for Truth” questioned his war record and the Kerry campaign failed to immediately respond to the group’s claims that many people, including Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said were
“dishonest and dishonorable.”

Sam Adams might have been a wild eyed big mouth comapred to his cousin John, but I think he was a great American nonetheless.

"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.”
