Requesting prayers for my Baby Sister.
She is a Mother of 2 teenagers.
She visited the MD yesterday , MRI results show a neural sheath neoplasm encapsulated around the femoral artery and compressing her femoral vein.
She visits the surgeon on Thursday.
I am asking for our prayer comunity to aid in her healing and therapy.
Latest update. Just found out her surgery time has been advanced to 7:30 am. She has to be there at 6am.
Fouling up paperwork is allowed but nothing else...

Gina didn’t have surgery today..They were digging trying to get an IV in..She told them she was fainty and asked for a cold cloth 3 times..
The nurse kept on with the IV and she passed out and then had a seizure.. The hand with the IV got jammed under the bed rail and it got hurt..
Surgery was canceled. She has had an EEG, a MRI of her head and waiting on a neurology consult.
The last thing she needed was another complication..
Many things it could be besides brain metastasis..Of course that is the really big worry..
Lord, support Gina through this recent crisis..Hold her in your healing hands and succor her through these trials..Restore her body and soul to health .
May this ordeal help both Gina and her family to grow in wisdom and compassion . Not my will but thine be done.

And then back to my prayers. God can make this into His good. Sometimes His good seems to much to bear. You have the right prayer at this point. "Thy will be done."
Taz, I’m so sorry to hear this news, but I’m thankful that Gina wasn’t in the middle of surgery when she had the seizure. I know how concerned you all must be,and I do so pray that it is not metastasis.
Amen to your prayer. God bless all of you - - - keeping Gina’s name and supplications for her before His Throne in prayer.
The good news..MRI is negative, EEG is negative.. No brain metastasis..Thank you ,Heavenly Father.
Neurologist says there is no physiologic reason that she seized.. It could have been the combination of pain and exhaustion or it could have been an adverse reaction to lidocaine.
Gina says she slept poorly Monday night and not at all Tuesday.
Surgery is rescheduled for an unknown time tomorrow.

Big Sis is working on an ulcer.

Deep breaths, Taz. You can't change anything - I know, that's probably the worst part of it. It would be for me, anyway.

But it was for the best..She had ample opportunity for the anesthesiologist to talk to her...They will not be using lidocaine in the epidural...Much reassurance from that.
