The Cold War between the US and Iran is heating up.
US military and special-operations teams "have escalated their activities in Iran to gather intelligence" and reportedly "have also crossed the border in pursuit of Iranian operatives from Iraq," according to investigative reporter Seymour Hersh in an article in the March 5 issue of The New Yorker magazine.
Hersh quotes a former senior intelligence aide stating: "The word went out last August for the military to snatch as many Iranians in Iraq as they can. They had 500 locked up at one time. We're working these guys and getting information from them."

Every time I see the above in an article or as a byline I feel like blood vessels are exploding in my head.
I try not to let libs get under my skin, he does.
Seymour Hersch smokes crack, I have no doubt. He's had us invading Iran twice so far, one time giving the date.
I think his former senior government official is Scott Ritter. Ritter told the world we were going to invade Iran at least 3x in the past 3 years.
Sy Hersh has always been a yellow journalist.
I wouldn't believe this POS if he said the sun was rising in the East.
I am more interested in how much of the long pork they destroyed.
There are no terrorists in Iran or anywhere else for that matter. Just ask a DemocRat.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Is Seymour Hersh?
The amusing thing is, Iran can't exactly say "you have 100s of our people" locked up, because then they would have to explain why 100s are in Iraq. That's why you only hear them complain when they can say it's related to their embassy or somesuch "official" delegation.
This is based on Seymour Hersh "reporting" so make sure you have your salt shakers ready.
With Seymour Hersh as the source for the info, it has no credibility.
