Another think tank, this one called the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU), has come out for total civilian disarmament and repeal of the Second Amendment.
Whats new about that? ISPU is openly pro-Muslim, and the ISPU writer is a criminal defense attorney who argues for repealing parts of the Bill of Rights.
You can read the whole article, entitled In the Fight Against Terrorism, Some Rights Must Be Repealed, by Junaid Afeef, on the ISPU website:
http://www.ispu.us/pages/articles/2914/articleDetailPB.html
A JPFO supporter sent us the link, and we did read the article, looking for:
a. Inaccurate facts b. Missing data and support for factual claims c. Tricks in shifting the context or changing the subject d. Statements of opinion presented as though they were unquestionable facts e. Insults, innuendoes and smears f. Key facts or considerations that are totally ignored g. Logic errors
We found many errors, fallacies, propaganda tricks, and an outright lie or two. When you read the piece, see how many you can find.
Or you can go directly to our analysis and response to the article, entitled A Muslim Writer Tells America: Drop Your Guns and Give Up" at www.jpfo.org/dropguns.pdf
We take the ISPU article apart, paragraph by paragraph. Some of the points may be familiar to you, but there are a few new twists.
Do we expect to convince ISPU or Mr. Afeef of the errors of their position? Not really. We are publishing a response so that gun owners and rights supporters can keep their intellectual guns polished and powder dry.
The enemies of the Bill of Rights come in all flavors. We can never rest, thinking that we have answered all of their challenges.
Let us know what you think after reading our response.

"Go tell Habib and his ilk the same thing the Texans told the Santa Anna and the Mexicans, "Come and take it!" "
I prefer to go a bit further back in history and tell Ishmael and his ilk the same thing the Spartan King Leonidas I told the Persian Emporer Xerxes I when told that his and his men's lives would be spared if they dropped their weapons: "Molon Labe!" (Come and take them!) http://www.thefiringline.com/HCI/molon_labe.htm
Oh, how I long for a high-level American politician to have the guts to say those things. Its not a matter of being jingoistic, etc., it is a matter of national and cultural survival. Those who want to come here from somewhere else are welcome, provided they respect our people, laws, institutions, language and sovereignty. All others are, as it was stated, free to exercise yet another of our freedoms, the freedom to leave (or, as the English say it, to "go sod off."
Another day of al Qaeda and democrats marching arm-in-arm in perfect lockstep. When will Americans (excluding present company) wake up?
Every last Muslim on the planet is a waste of air and space.
EVERY
LAST
ONE!
There are no words for how much I loathe and abhorr everything Islamic.
He replied: Anybody who is FOR gun control is a fu*king moron!
Says it all ............ FRegards
And the Left is afraid of armed Christian conservatives.
Reminds me of the old union song, "Which side are you on boys? Which side are you on?"
Geez, how could I forget?!............FRegards

LOCKED AND LOADED.
Even a liberal like Hubert Humphrey knew why there has to be a Second Amendment:
Sen. Hubert Humphrey's statement, Know Your Lawmakers, Guns, Feb. 1960, p. 4 (1960): "Certainly one of the chief guarantees of freedom under any government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of citizens to keep and bear arms. This is not to say that firearms should not be very carefully used and that definite safety rules of precaution should not be taught and enforced. But the right of citizens to bear arms is just one more guarantee against arbitrary government, one more safeguard against a tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible."
Then again if Old Hubert were alive today he would wonder who was running Minneapolis today. Oh that's right, it's the communists he ran out of the DFL! They're baaaaaaaaaack!
Dhimmis for Gun Control endorsed ISPU's position.
Do the Muzzies really think we are that stupid?
It is no longer safe for the public to carry guns. Gun violence is increasingly widespread in the United States.
The aurthor suggests that the problems is with armed, law-abiding citizens instead of the armed criminals and the solution is to disarm the law abiding!
That is most emphatically not true. Many people campaign for gun control for the purpose of putting themselves and their friends in a position of superiority over those foolish enough to disarm.
Have you seen this one?
bollocks. rather, say: yet another reason to buy a few extra, so as to be able to arm your neighbors should need arise.
