Internet War waged against Hal Turner, New Jersey hate monger

A band of Internet vigilantes (reportedly based in 4chan.org and 7chan.org) have attacked Hal Turner's 'net audio broadcasts and Web Site.
The initial foray consisted of a coordinated series of prank calls into Hal Turner's Internet talk show. Mr. Turner retaliated by posting the caller's phone numbers at his Web Site.
The ePosse escalated the attack over a wider front. The pranksters posted the personal phone numbers of Hal Turner and his parents. Included in the message were accusations of domestic abuse and cruelty to animals, which Mr. Turner has denied. Supposedly Hal Turner's wife, mother, and underage son received phone calls threatening assault and sexual assault.
Hal Turner's Web Site received a Denial of Service attack. A Denial of Service attack uses an automated process to simulate a constant stream of a large number of visitors. This can cause the hosting server to grind to a halt, causing a Web Site to become unavailable. Mr. Turner claims that the Denial of Service attack has cost him thousands of dollars in bandwidth charges. The attackers (possibly identified or associated with /b/tards and/or Anonymous) are quite proud of this and have openly gloated about it in message boards.
Hal Turner has stated that criminal charges were filed against John Does. He also posted that Skinheads in either Australia or New Zealand (Mr. Turner was not sure of a location more precise than "down under.") tracked down and beat one the hackers. Hal Turner posted on his Web Site a picture of a young man with a bloody face as proof. Someone did a google image search using "bloody face" as the term. In this way, the identical picture immediately was located elsewhere on the Web in an unrelated context. The photo and the claim of assualt subsequently disappeared from Hal Turner's Web Page.
For a short time on the morning of the December 28th, Hal Turner's Web Site forwarded to (displayed) the official FBI Web Site. I at first thought that Hal Turner's Site was hacked. This does not seem to have been the case. A possibility is that the forward was intended to divert the Denial of Service attack to the FBI and so involve the Feds.
Hal Turner has appealed to other White Supremacists noting that they may be targeted next. Some of those claiming to be members of the ePosse have echoed this. It's not known why visitors to 4chan.org or 7chan.org have decided to attack racism in general and Hal Turner in particular. 4chan.org and 7chan.org are best known for a focus on Japanese cartoons and comics.
Last summer, Hal Turner was quoted as advocating the killing of undocumented aliens. He also was involved in an assault case against Jaime Vazquez, recipient of the Purple Heart and Frmr. Jersey City Councilman:

You know there is a little delicious irony in that.
He's a nonentity and wannabe neo-Nazi "talk show host" who used to broadcast on shortwave, but has apparently shifted to online. His usual MO is to post something offensive and then claim oppression when people are offended, or to blame censorship for his own ineptitude.
Turner's alleged fans pop up every now and then to champion his cause, but most of them have the whiff of sock puppets. I wouldn't waste the effort to expectorate or urinate in his direction, because spit and urine contain water and other elements essential to life, and it's more than he deserves.

I used to listen to him on shortwave now and then. The guy actually has talent as a broadcaster, but he's unable to remain focused on the facts, and his emotions, overly generalized prejudices, and am a loss for words to describe the rest of his psyche, led to him being kicked off a "First Amendment Radio Transmitting Station" from which he was buying air time.
Having said that, the show's entertainment and information value quickly deteriorated after about 15 minutes, iirc, which is 5 minutes longer than I could take of the leftist, and fraudulently named "Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting" and the "Steppin' Out of Babylon" programs also broadcast on WBCQ's transmitters.

NORTH BERGEN, N.J., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Internet hackers disabled the Web site of North Bergen, N.J. white supremacist Hal Turner by overloading the server.
The group, which identifies themselves as the "/b/tards," sent more traffic to Turner's site than it could handle, known as a denial of service attack.
An anonymous message posted to Turner's site claimed the attack was not provoked by the racist nature of Turner's site, the Jersey Journal reported Monday.
"I am, as of now, DEFEATED. My entire existence on the Internet has been utterly wrecked," Turner posted on the site Dec. 31.
Turner's white supremacist weblog is one of several to experience similar attacks in the past year. Turner has also been in the news for hiring a plane carrying a banner with an anti-Mexican slur to fly over Liberty State Park in New Jersey in the summer of 2006.
The site was still unavailable as of Sunday night, the Jersey Journal reported.
