Where's he coming home from? I want to come, if I can get off from work in time. I live in West Sacramento.

I'm so glad you'll be able to see him for a few days. When my brother was there, since he was the commander of his unit, he didn't get a leave. He gave all the available leaves to his soldiers. It made for a REALLY long year. I am so glad you're getting to see your soldier!!

Jumping up and down on the tarmac here in Missouri. We'll be there, young man, to welcome home someone who warms all of our hearts. Thanks, SoldierDad. Get the ping list ready. We don't want to miss touch down.

That [video] always brings tears to my eyes. So does the real thing...everytime I see our soldiers in airports, which is quite often (I travel a lot and fly out of Atlanta), I feel like crying too. I'm just so darn proud of our brave men and women.
They are the best of the best!
