Prayers requested for our stalwart FReeper JulieRNR21 and her beloved husband Richard. Richard is scheduled for surgery midday Monday in Sarasota for removal of a malignant tumor from his stomach. Previously, Richard was treated quite successfully for lower GI cancer. This new tumor appears to be unrelated to the initial malignancy (different cell type).
Julie, we are keeping you and Richard in our prayers.
Praise God .. wonderful news, Julie and Richard. Prayers for consistent improvement. God bless you both.

I am so grateful for your prayers which I know are a factor in Richard's recovery.
We praise and thank our Divine Physician for Richard's progress this week.
In just one week at the rehab facility he's come a long way!
Because one loses muscle tone after being so long in hospital beds, he's receiving 3 hours of therapy each day.
He gets physical therapy to strengthen leg muscles and improve mobility; occupational therapy for upper body strength and speech therapy to strengthen his voice and to improve his breathing and swallow reflex.
He's been working hard and resting between the one hour sessions. His therapists say they are pleased with his progress.
