I am looking to do a road trip into and through as much of Alaska as possible, with the goal of exploring for relocation purposes.
I would like to ferry my truck/camper from Seattle to Homer then travel up through Glenallen, Tok, Fairbanks, and further north following the Pipeline Corridor.
I'm looking for information regarding the following:
Ferry boat resources to avoid Canada, entirely
What to expect for roads, stopping places (I want to avoid tourist places.)
Friendliness of various villages, and peoples along the way.
Opportunities for labor employment along the way.
Any other info you can offer that is helpful.

You'll have to get pretty far out of town: either Fairbanks or Anchorage is nearly completely Seattle already, and the Liberals are electing their Liberal mayors, etc. The real Alaska is someplace way off the road you have to fly to in a four-seater with tundra tires.

This is no joke. Get lots of "OFF" or something similar. Use it liberally. And make no mistake, you will die of blood loss if you get "ON" by mistake.

Heh, heh. I'm with ya on that one, if only for the "border crossing" hassles.
The people are not particularly friendly. They will drag your rig out of a ditch and splint your bonebreak, otherwise you are on your own. The friendly ones are the ones that just got to Alaska and the hookers and crooks.
I spent 10 days there on a fishing trip. It was the best trip I ever took. Flew to Anchorage, met up with my dad and brother, rented a car, drove to Soldotna on the Kenai Pennensula. Stayed in a cabin on a lake. Drove the area for sightseeing, Seward, Homer, etc. Went on floatplane trips, drifted the Kenai and Kassilhof rivers, caught huge halibuts out of Homer.
I will go back to AK and see other places.

Let me know when you fixed the laws so that I can take my pistols through and I'll make a point to visit.

Why would you want to avoid Canada? In fact, if you want to get to towns like Hyder, AK by road, Canada is the only way in. If you're worried about carrying a shotgun, that's actually legal, though the permit costs $50CDN, and you declare it at the border along with a form describing the make/model etc.

Oh my, that liberals are taking over saddens me.
We almost got stationed in Bethel Alaska. The promise of being assigned a double-wide was not appealing. I don't think you can drive there...wonder why you would want to.

It is happening in Montana as well.
Bethel is okay, although a city person would die of boredom. Once there is snow you can take a ride out of town on your off-road vehicle, but there is also nothing wherever you go.
The center of Conservatism, SouthEast, just elected a Liberal mayor. Don't be too shocked to hear that Tony is back in the Governor's office in a month. Between Greens and Ds, conservative types are getting sparse.
Alaska is so big that if you explored 1000 acres every day, it would take 1000 years to finish.
Bethel is a gigantic urban megacity compared to Karluk, on Kodiak Island, which is where I ended up for a while.
Can't be done. It's mostly Federal land and off limits. Can't be scuffing up the muskeg and scaring the three moose that are left.
