This is an urgent prayer request for one of Free Republic's most logical and consistent voices for Freedom. Nick Danger was admitted earlier this afternoon for a near 100% heart blockage. He has undergone surgery and had a stint installed. Nick is in Intensive Care at George Washington Hospital - admitted of course - under his real name.
Please post prayers and best wishes to this thread which Intersting Times will print out and get to Nick.
Please hit your ping lists and bump this thread often. I am out of touch this evening for family medical issues, but wanted to get this thread up before leaving. I will check in later on this evening.

Just got a report in from Interesting Times: Nick Danger has been chauffered to his home and is under watchful care. Implanting the stent (thank you Gonzo) was successful and our intrepid Freeper Friend is on the mend.

 Thanks to everyone for the prayers and warm regards. I am truly humbled by all the attention.
I can't say how much I'll be able to post for a while, but I will say that a heart attack isn't what it used to be; I was in and out of there in 2-1/2 days. |

Nick, it is so good to see that you are recovering at home now. You must have scared a few liberals in the hospital or something.
