I’m hearing all kinds of disturbing, though predictable, stories about a Clintonista offensive against “The Path to 9/11,” an ABC documentary written and produced by Cyrus Nowrasteh ("Into the West"), and directed by David Cunningham ("To End All Wars"). I haven’t seen it yet (although I hope to this weekend), but it is already drawing rave reviews from people who have (the piece is reviewed at FrontPage, here).
Apparently, the documentary recounts the bureaucratic bungling and lack of action against al Qaeda that was pervasive prior to the September 11 atrocities. It is by no means, I understand, pro-Bush. It is, instead, an effort to present history accurately. This evidently has many former Clinton officials and apologists in their default kill-the-messenger mode. Great pressure is being brought to bear on ABC and Disney to reopen the editorial process at this late stage (the documentary is supposed to air on September 10-11) so that the years 1993-2001 may remain forever airbrushed.
Will they succeed? This bears watching.

I have been interested in seeing this miniseries - but assumed that it would be an anti-Bush film.
I'd like to ask fellow Freepers out there:
1. What have you heard about it?
2. Are you gonna watch it? Why? Why not?
And these Dems. call Bush a "fascist" as their boy Clinton is trying to suppress the truth and the free flow of information and facts?
What is it Clinton is so afraid of people seeing if he was just such the hyper-competent, on top of it all the time president he claims to be and the "best president in history" according to his more zombied supporters?
I hope they don't cave, but I'm betting they do.......they always do.........threats to the parties involved, their stocks, their kids futures, etc...........

I could feel my BP rising listening to Rush on this......he has seen the original.....as have many other people- so if ABC caves- it will NOT be a secret....
Cyrus Nowrasteh is a friend of Rush's. I heard Rush talking about this earlier in the week and thought then that this will NEVER see the light of day on ABC. It lays the blame for 911 squarely at the feet of Maddy Albright, Sammy Bergler and the Bent One. ABC will cave and pull it.
I'm in dark blue Philly. My local ABC is useless.

Man, if the Bush Admin were doing any such thing, the Dems would be up in arms with cries of "Cover Up!" and "Bush Lied!".

It really pisses me off that two idiots, the Clintons plus their cronies, have so much power to intimidate. Hell, I have more respect for the Mafia than these two; at least the mob is more honest about what they are.
