I have been interested in seeing this miniseries - but assumed that it would be an anti-Bush film.
I'd like to ask fellow Freepers out there:
1. What have you heard about it?
2. Are you gonna watch it? Why? Why not?
The story linked on post 37 has convinced me to see it (and I'm somebody who rarely watches television).
Why not?
I watched as much of the Congressional hearings on Waco as C-span had on, even though that was an unreal whitewash job. CNN was worse, with the 5 minute rule (5 minutes Dems, 5 minutes Pubbies), CNN showed 5 minutes of Dems (mainly Schumer's histrionics) and 5 minutes of commercials, over and over...so you only got one side.
The Republicans either ended up on the cutting room floor on both networks, or the really tough questions never got asked, with the exception of Congressman Sonny Bono, who Nailed Janet Reno on the question of using Methylene Chloride for the carrier fluid for the CS they injected. Google up a MSDS on Methylene Chloride (also used as carburettor cleaner).
Unfortunately Congressman Bono got wrapped around a tree while skiing and died not too long afterward.
This might be just as interesting--and provide the blogosphere a fine opportunity to scuttle her heinous once and for all.

I saw the commercials for it and almost couldn't believe it. I guess Hilary saw the same one. There were some body slams just in the commercial.
1. I have only heard Rush's comments.
2. I can't remember the last time I watched anything on one of the three majors, and will not break that pattern for this claptrap.
I'm going to watch it, because I read, originally, it is the first REAL pro American mini series in over 10 years.
